Honestly, I don’t know much about accounting roles since I studied computer science but I do have a friend that did accounting and I know she has more knowledge on this, maybe I should consider bringing her on to talk about this specific topic. Thanks for raising this🫶
But at the big 4 there are so many roles that you can apply for. Would you want me to share some of the grad programmes that are available there?
Currently studying Bsc Honours in Financial and Accounting Systems Development and Applications @ the University of Zimbabwe, I did modules such as python programming, databases, artificial intelligence, software engineering, datawarehousing, business accounting, financial management, audit and assurance etc. I was considering going for CISA whats you take. Thanks for the video.
That is quite a vast amount of modules. Kudos on having that exposure. Going for CISA is Dependent on what Career path you would like to take. Given your current exposure, it seems you might be more into Data Analytics which could contend with CISA. With CISA you can then get into auditing systems (including financial systems) that organisations use. With Data Analytics the modules you mentioned will be of great help as you then get exposed to “play” around with Data.
