At 3.10...do we open the upper frame and put plaster directly on maxillary cast and then close the upper frame while plaster is not set... or we keep it closed and put plaster over articulator like you did? Which one is correct?
Okay so both the ways are correct. Some prefer to keep it close and some open and then pour. Because when you keep it close and pour then there might be a slight chance of not filling the plaster properly just a slight chance but on the other hand if you open it then pour so keep in mind to adjust central pin before lifting it up So both the ways are correct
What are you using for Blue Flame?? In college I am able to achieve Blue Flame with the Burner . but at home .....Spirit lamp or Candle gives Orange Flame which Makes the Rims and Instruments black....what is that you're using for the Blue Flame.....Can I please know so that I can Buy it?
Not at all there are reasons to remove supportive wax one is during summer wax can disrupt the height of rims in articulation. And we don't want to remove wax to adjust the height on articulator.
See first do the maxillary mounting nd like it semi sets then you can use instrument like carver or wax knife heat a bit then remove the wax. Faculty will also ask you why we don't want the wax during the mounting then say it can disrupt the mounting. And you can try to remove it if you can't just make an excuse like in hurry you forgot to remove it and will take care of this from next time
See it depends on the case you can't have ideal case But in preclinical both are important but read about it first from any prosthodontics book be it S. Laxmi, Deepak Nallaswamy or Rangarajan

1. Groove indexing
2. notch indexing

Is it important to make notches??
Yes actually notches and grooves help in better retention
Did you remove that supportive wax which was used for maintaining height of mandible??

@@dentocare14 My teacher said me that while mounting you have to remove it so m getting confused now what to do???

the cast position is not a problem?? i mean the maxillary cast is not placed parallel to the mandibular… or only the occlusal is important???
See it depends on the case you can't have ideal case
