Best amplifier? Best amplifier test you've performed, yes, by far. There are amps that make much more than rated. For example, a 3000 watt amp that puts out 13,200 on the Dyno. That's impressive
I think I saw an Orion amp do that. For the money it's one of the best value amps out there. I am using 0 gauge wire now and a larger power supply. Thanks.
You should try the NVX XAD11, it's 700w full bridge model and right around $100. It's extremely similar to that Sundown and would make a great comparison.
I honestly did nothing different at all, Even the knobs, I adjusted it before the video again which I did not mean to do. I'm not done with this amp, I think I can maybe get over 2,000 from it, the knobs were just above the halfway point, bass boost was just below halfway point. This one will be around again. Thanks as always.
@@johnnyditommaso6807 ya know, I just watched that video again, I did not notice I used that small wire. If possible at any given video now I use Sky High 0 gauge with the input reducer. I have a tiny run from the power to the amp with a fuse on the line.

I've honestly looked at that several times and have it sitting in my cart. Thanks for the suggestion and the comment.
Is that Skar ZVX a dual 2 ohm? Saw that thing dropped down to .2 ohm. Wow!
It's the dual 1 , wired at .5 ohms. Yes sir she dropped low. Thanks for your comment, I'm glad people are noticing these things.
@@SubzPawz that little amp is a beast! Took that .5 ohm load like a champ. Did it ever go into protect mode while running it at a .5 ohm load?
@@vudu402 not once, another reason for the live tests, you can see what the amp can really handle, and also what the sub will take from that amp.
You should do this same test with the SFB1000d.
Something changed there. What did you do different? Seems like great power.

@@SubzPawz another thing are you using 0 gauge copper wire not cca. Because you were using that cca wire when you tested the SA Audio amp.

@@SubzPawz but is it cca or is it OFC Copper?
@@johnnyditommaso6807 I got the ofc, is that not as good. I want to buy another short run soon, i can get the other.
