Not sure if you're familiar with the Dancing scene in the Philippines. I was a bit surprised when you were surprised about Krump stuff casually added into the whole routine. Krump is sooo big especially in the barangay dance comp level. You would see a lot of these young dance groups having similar routines and concepts because that's what they've been trying to learn and copy from overseas. And I think Krump just goes so well with the pinoy dance culture. But, if you're not familiar, check out the big groups that came out from the country. Winning big dance competitions in the international stage. PHILIPPINE ALLSTARS (old but gold), A-Team, UPeepz, VPeepz, XB GENSAN (super into krump), Legit Status, to name a few. Unfortunately we're not too familiar with the scene in the Philippines, but we would ABSOLUTELY love to experience it if we got to go. Some of our members who used to compete got to see Phillipine All Stars back in the day at HHI when they were competing. We were surprised bc a the artists we've worked with and have reacted usually aim for smooth with clean lines, groovy, jazz funk, or swaggy. So for us, it's refreshing to see this style on music artists.

Their old routine definitely had some Krump influences, but I think they were the first ones from the PH to mix different styles.
