Good video. I would suggest asking an enterprise friend about how to make a new intro for MRTV business. The current one seems more consumer focused and they might want a different pacing or presentation for the intro.
1 thing i don't understand. Since VR headsets have FOVs ranging from 90 to 120 degrees (Star/Pymax aside) is it not better just to make VR HMDs & pass a live video feed? Then just overlay the syntetic objetcs with the advantage of far larger view ranges. Why keep insisting on using this projection dsplays which are still behind more conventional display panels where most of the R&D is spent anyways?
I think the most important part to consider: It is a safety issue. If your view of the real world lags, or the display suddenly crashes and shuts off, that can put the user in danger.
The 'value add' that makes AR's value skyrocket is the ability to scan, replicate and immediately use in holographic space a real object you're now looking looking at with hl. Microvision is the hardware, but ApI not done to run this.
Hey Sebastian, could you please answer me? You experienced XTAL and StarVR One personally. 1. Which of them has better picture and resolution by feeling? 2. Which of them have bigger FOV by feeling? 3. Do lens in XTAL better and do things feel bigger and smaller in any of these? Is any of these VRs better in this?
Hi Susan, the XTAL felt like having a better resolution. But pretty much for everything else the StarVR One felt better. Better FOV. And für XTAL, they were still struggling with the scale, things in VR felt too small.
@@mixedrealityTV Thank you so much, Sebastian! Really appreciate your videos and information! Super awesome channel! So now it is possible to send a message to StarVR One and they'll send it to me? Even for personal use? Cause i saw a comment that one guy tried and they denied for some reason.. Don't want to look stupid, sorry (((
Definitely not a productivity device - its easier to use two-three monitors and just direct the eye-sight if you're doing some quick actions than adjusting your head every time to keep a window fully in glasses poor FoV... The product picture (with the girl skype-ing in AR) is also misleading - as it already requires to have a PC-desk setup with connected web-camera. 100% Not a BUSINESS product. More like for fitting specific needs where you have no better solution, like doing a surgery operation and having visual aid through the glasses
xD lol ....so that's why it's a device exclusively for businesses and developers lol and why the US army has a contract with MS for 500 million usd for hololenses ....ar headsets give u the equivalent of a hologram anywhere u can imagine it's much more then just a display ....and the fov is perfectly fine and usable especially compared to the first gen
@@pumpuppthevolume Yep, as i seaid - special cases and development purposes for such cases, but productivity-wise equipping the team with Rift S is much more reliable, cost-effective and it expands the functionality of the working space much more than AR can at the moment.
@@jeanwinter5275 so u got that it's exclusively for businesses and developers great lol the rift s.... it's designed to maximize the awareness of the user of the environment and not get in the way as much as a hat would..... and the angular resolution is high enough so there is no sde..... when the rift s or other headset can do that than it will be suitable for the same all day work use cases on location of a factory or anything imaginable if u want to show a 3d model to someone in your office for 10-15 min great do it on the rift s or a monitor

Did you subscribe to MRTV Business yet? And what do you think about the device after the unboxing?

Is it powered by the latest Snapdragon processor? or is it powered by an older one like the Snapdragon 835?
If you're referring to the Snapdragon XR2, no it's not. It's powered by the Snapdragon 850 processor

This has nothing to do with the holo lense but can you play FPS shooters on starvr one
If you have to ask, then no...YOU can't. StarVR isn't in consumer price range anyway so don't worry about it.
All I can think of is Steven Spielberg ready player and 6g.
they should make game call sword art online for this headset too real
they dont sell this on amazon oh will
Already suscribed to the MRTV Business yo check out all about Hololens 2! Cant wait!
