    Those "floats" were fantastic, and to think they were created with only wood, wire, and paper. Thank goodness they are mounted on a wheeled chassis so the porters can easily maneuver them. Thank you for bringing this to us.

      yes, I would not be able to choose one!
      I love the music as well, it just somehow hits me home, just so nostalgic, although I have heard this for the first time there.

    This video brings back many childhood memories of going to the festival with my cousins. My mother was from Aomori prefecture, and she spent many summers at Sukayu Onsen. I can still remember all the sights, sounds, and smells from many, many years ago. Thank you!!

    That’s so cool. How was the weather there? I hear the weather is very hot and humid and to avoid travel in summer to Japan. But this video makes me want to try attending the festival.

      the weather was, as you say really hot! but not as bad, since Aomori is much higher north. it wasn't "unbearable hot"

    It is my dream to go to Japan once in my life Japan is my dream country even though I celebrate some Japanese festival at my home. I am so fascinated with Japanese culture and mythology. I watch every video or vlog related to japan on RUclips
    After about 10 years I will come back on this comment and I hope that I will Visit Japan in the future
    Biggest dream "Visiting Japan with my family" And earn a lot of money

    Japan - don't make the same mistake Europe has made - "diversity" - or your festivals will not be around for long....
