When I got a ring appraised I saw her use all of these along with a few more tools. She allowed me to come to her home office and It was super cool to watch her do her thing. although afterward I had wished I'd asked more questions about the entire process so this was very informative. Thank u! 😀👌
I'd love to see more of the tools in the lab too!
we'd love to see all the BTS in the lab!!!
oh my god yes!
I really like this program and I really like everybody that's doing the broadcasts thank you.
Would really like to see more tools and a more in depth usage of them. Thanks
WOW! did I get an education, love your down to earth style, easy to grasp your demonstration, well done, now it's time to go tool shopping, Thanks!
What is a good place to buy those tools? I bought a refractometer from Amazon but it doesn’t work at all.
How can I buy this stuff and learn more?
Nobody answered me..helloooo
Hi very informative video. Can you use the efractometer to identify rough stones . Deepak Sood
Omg I relied soooo heavily on my refractometer in my 20 stones too! I just ordered more oil from JTV
Nice Tools And Great Explanation :-)
Do you have any videos on identifying stones that haven't been faceted?
I need to get myself a gemologist loupe, i been using a standard magnifying glass but its not as portable
Can you use the refractometer on a crystal tower?
Pls mention , how to get same kit...
Very informative. Thanks
I want to learn all the things
I enjoyed learning more about gemology's tools! I'm surprised that the refractomoter needed a liquid. Is it made so that it works as a liquid lens of some sort? I'm also left with various other questions.
Is pleochromism the same thing as a sunglass lens being polarized?
What sort of units does the refractometer ruler measure with?
On an unrelated note, I'd be psyched to see a video on radioactive gemstones. I didn't know gemstones could be radioactive until a few weeks ago!
I believe the refractometer needs the fluid to create a pathway for the light (from the source) to enter the crystal at a controlled angle. The number she was looking for (reading) is the angle (refraction) that light is bent inside the crystal. You need to avoid bending the light due to surface features. This is similar to oil immersion microscope optics.
I want to learn more about all of it. Also, there needs to be a gemology podcast.
If possible, could you do a vid about the 7 Prism Stones from Futari wa pretty cure
Thx! And... there are so many edits.. lol. There was probably a few "French* words in between those spaces
I like it 🧐
this is really really interesting
i want to buy
Yes very good like to learn. More
I have a lot to learn. I know Andalusite is named after Andalusia, Spain.
"no pain no gain" is the mindset required to learn how to do construction and use stuff like a hammer. Gotta ignore the instincts of not hitting your hand and really take your time and once you have hand eye coordination with a hammer swinging to the nail. You naturally will speed up. An occasional accident will happen but be persistant and you get it.
1.75...pink... Soo its .03 ? Is that Spinel?
Why dont people make picture frames out of gems
Hello
Want to learn more, assist
There is lot of talking but no example to show how u can identify if the item that you are holding is real

Hmm, collage educated in a fascinating subject, astonishingly beautiful, good cook, single (and HINTS at that almost every episode). Hmm.
