Tof filmpje. Ik rij al meer dan 20 jaar met een Meyra Optimus of later de Optimus 2. Ik heb er al 4 gehad. Hoe zit dat met de optionele ledverlichting? De verlichting op de Meyra vind ik niet gebruiksvriendelijk, zeker niet als het lampje springt.
Wel, ik rij ook al sinds 1999 met een ELRO van Meyra: eerst een EuroSprint, dan een Optimus 1 en nu ondertussen mijn 4de Optimus 2, waarvan de laatste twee de RS versie.
ondertussen is de Optimus 2 sinds deze zomer verkrijgbaar met LED-verlichting. Mijn led verlichting heb ik zelf geïnstalleerd: twee inbouw verstralers vooraan en achteraan de twee ronde rode reflectoren vervangen met gelijkaardige waarin een led-verlichting ingebouwd is. Deze zet ik afzonderlijk aan en uit mbv een extra schakelaar, gemonteerd op de voetsteun, net onder de zijspiegel. Alles is apart aangesloten op de batterijen met een extra zekering, zonder dat er aan het interne circuit wordt geraakt.

neen, enkel de twee Wavetech Beats zijn op elke batterij gemonteerd, maar deze verbruiken niets.

Great video buddy. I’m thinking of getting one and testing it out this Friday. I have some quick questions for you….
1) I assume the lever near your left hip is to put the chair on free wheel. If you’re in a crowd say a rock festival etc would that lever get accidentally knocked by a person or a bag?
2) If you’re on a 3 hour walk in the hot sun on the road etc.do the chair motors and joystick overheat?
3) I don’t think it can but can this chair rise up to head hight if you stay still? Or is it just the seat tilt? And can the backrest recline with the touch of a button if you remove the huge luggage box from the back?
4) Be honest now 😂 if there’s any weak points or annoying things about this chair what are they?

Hello Kain,
1) The lever on the left is indeed used to put the seat in freewheel and to turn the rear wheels without using the steering motor. So when your wheelchair is disabled. And this lever has an internal spring and requires quite a lot of force to move it. So I don't foresee a problem with this, although of course someone could want to tease you and move this lever.
When this lever is in freewheel, this is also indicated on the control screen. And this also applies to the other lever on the right side, which is the handbrake.
2) I regularly ride rides of more than 3 hours in full sun and have never had any problems with overheating. After all, you are driving at a fairly high speed with the wind cooling you, and when you stand still it is best to switch off the wheelchair.
The only thing you have to be careful about is if there is a lot of pressure on the black tires and you are in the sun for a long time, they can heat up and in some cases explode, although I have not had this happen in the 20 years that I have been driving this chair. happened.
3) This chair has a normal manual seat, where you can only tilt the back. There is also a back support built in.
As a supplement, you can also obtain an electrically adjustable backrest, but then the suitcase must first be put aside manually (you can leave the suitcase out or simply have a luggage rack mounted on it.)
Adjusting the seat height electrically may be possible, but it will cost a lot extra and make driving less smooth, I think.
For me personally, there is not a single downside to this chair, especially when you compare it with other outdoor wheelchairs. There is no one that has a similar range and that is the main thing for me. You can easily make a ride of more than 60 km at a speed of 15 km/h.

How much is that chair and in US terminology how fast is 15 kilometers and how far is 70 kilometers in US distance
15 Km/u ≈ 9 Miles per Hour
and the distance of 70 Km = 43.49miles
I actually have a lot of questions and I'd really appreciate someone trying to get ahold of me because I'm trying to get the money together to get one of them because the chairs around here in the US only do like 6 miles an hour 10 to 12 miles ain't very long on a full charge
well, in Europe the speed of wheelchairs also differs from brand and type, but also from country to country.
In Belgium these seats are allowed a maximum speed of 9 mph; while in Germany it is limited to 6mph and in France even to 3mph.
And after a long drive, the charging time is approximately 12 hours

asta depinde de modelul dorit și ce opțiuni.
Un scaun cu rotile este format din cadrul de bază cu motor, baterii etc.
