tank-o-pottomis looks good
If your going to build a rocket you need to have plenty of rocket fuel 🚀😆
@Burndown you should consider doing a build montage video going over the car setup maybe before or right after RMR week since you have made so many changes over the last few years since the initial main voyage of the Boom. You could cover what you did, why you did it and like before and after on key upgrades. Would be mostly research from your archives and voice over if you need a break from all the hands on work you do and it would give the audience like a fast foward on where you started and are now. Would also be cool to see it before you change the paint if that is still the plan. Just a though, keep up the good work.
Yeah this would be cool to catch people up. I like that idea. It’s to the point now if someone saw the car they wouldn’t think it’s a complete driveway build. When things slow down a bit I’ll make that.
I'll need to talk you into building tanks for the WARRwagon once I do the frame swap!
Yeah im down. I'll just need good measurements. I have access to a nice press brake now so the fit will be better so my welding should improve on the next one!
So cool! Good job man! I like the setup, are you running a fuel line coil in the intercooler tank? I thought we talked about it at one point.
I’m going to see if the changes we made by adding the volume putting a smaller pump in and then dropping it down so it gets a little airflow if that covers my needs if not, I’ll throw coil through the water box .
Coping tube is always a adventure .everything turned out great 👍
It always seems to be good enough. It takes some time too get that really nice fit
A lightweight welding jacket will help, not getting hot welding slag down your shirt and burning the piss out of you! LOL Down between your toes, through your shoe is a nice one, too!
Been there, many times. I always suit up, now. ;)
I had one stick to my wedding ring once and it got the ring hot enough to burn a ring up around my finger 🤣.
@@Burndown Ouch! I don't wear mine when I'm working. Had an accident at an old job and if I had had it on, I would have lost my finger.
Built, not bought! Nice work!
I bought plenty of stuff to do the tank. Its actually more expensive then buying an eBay fuel cell unfortunately. But once you get the point im at you either make stuff work or you make stuff happen. Thanks for the support!
Looks great nice job.
Thank you!
I like the set up. I need to do something on the Cutlass. Running E85 only is getting old. I have a multi map switch but have to drain the tank to switch to 93 gas.
What ecm and engine are you running.
@@mikefew4232 6.0 Ls 88/103 turbo 4l80e Dominator ecu with a flex fuel sensor.
I run on e85 at home because it’s everywhere around where I live. I swapped to duel tanks because I had to drain fuel last year at the track and it’s a pain but it’s also a hazard depending on how you have to drain it. Hopefully this set up works better and I can switch tanks over and not drain anything
@@Burndown yes, that's my same problem. E85 availability around here isn't an issue now, it's the mileage. The e isn't horrible but, the gas is around 8mpg better. Also, x2 on draining the tank at the track sucks.
Cheers Dane, looks great.
Thank you!
good shit thank you
