not really because it's geared so that you'd have to pedal at like 130rpm to make it go faster

Thinking about getting this 800 for a 28mph bike is pretty good similar to the x hunter just alot cheaper

There's a key that unlocks the battery from the frame but it's not required to start the bike

yes it does but the design of the bike makes pedaling not very ergonomic. It's like a moped so the seat is wide and you sit very low so the biomechanics of pedalling aren't great. But yes, you can pedal and it does have pedal assist.
