    I never understood why any of this is necessary. Everything he did is undisputed. A trial shouldn’t be necessary when someone undoubtedly committed a crime. Why make victims relive this story? They should be allowed to make impact statements for closure but this has to be traumatizing to relive these events.

      @@karahcakes9146 the thing is he’s not even paying attention. A lot of these people and their lack of concern for what they did just makes the whole situation more frustrating for everyone. Especially when they laugh or taunt the victim’s families, seems unnecessary to me

      because they have to identify and like confirm for court papers and to point them out to the jurors. jurors are usually picked not knowing anything about the case so the outcome can be less biased

    Just can’t wait till they sentence him and I can’t wait until this is all over. That way the families can SOMEWHAT get a piece of mind knowing he’s finally locked up for good . And plus I’m just tired of hearing about him and seeing his face . He will never forget what he did.

    I understand you wouldnt know how to react and i cant say what i wouldve done but the reason he told him to "get outta there its about to get ugly" is because he was still messing with the gun. I dont know if it wasnt loaded or it was a malfunction or what but the guy that he told that to in the stairwell probably couldve stoped him

      You do realize there is a legal process. Although you are rightfully angry at this POS, that process is the only thing that separates him from you. It's flippant comments like yours, that demonstrate how people like him can exist. What makes you think the victims aren't being helped?? If we really want to help them, we need to make sure this doesn't happen in another school. They need justice, but unfortunately, nothing is going to undo what he did.

    To be honest this court case really makes me want go up to heaven myself and pass away to see and hug the high school freshman and other class men who were killed that day and could have been a high school graduate one day just like me graduating on June 3rd with the class of 2022 but I can’t really take my own life away to see these angels because I am only 19 and I still have many years ahead of me and a lot of people are proud of me right now for graduating at the top 50 of my class and going to college in August to study Computer Science.I would have had the courage to take down the gun man myself if I could that day who has no remorse over his actions.
