20 years ago kiev made sense. Today they don't. The lenses actually cost more than mamiya and bronica lenses. You can put a kiev lens on a mamiya645 body via an adapter but the japanese glass is superior in every way and costs less. I still have my kievs. I got em around y2k. I've probably put a quarter mile worth of film through both of them. They aren't worth it and I'm emotionally attached to em.
