As a video editor myself I just wanted to say that THIS IS AMAZING. I finished watching all his films and series except for Rejseholdet and was preparing a 1 minute video for a friend but it already took me a lot of time to review every film and select each clip to include in the video and then time the transition with the music... That was exhausting already. You did a great job arranging the clips by theme - smoking, hugging, fight scenes, kissing scenes... you must have sorted through all of his best shots lol. You are on another level!!!! Thank you very much for the dedication to make this video!!!!
That's the sweetest comment I've ever read. It was quite a lot of work. Even though I have watched all of his films and I do keep all those films in my hard drive, having no problems with the target materials and being a die hard fan, I still feel exhausted making this video and once in a while I have to get away from it and edit sth else. I used to watch a lot of MVs, and replay those ones that I like. It's more abstract i guess, would be strange to cut on the music note. So I guess in a way it might look simple because less clips are used but in fact how you make that flexibility into sth really inspiring and visually pleasing might be even harder. Mad jealousy to ur friend. So lucky to have a wholesome friend like u. I'm sure he or she will like it🥺 I will be waiting in the queue with red eyes🤭

Bravo! Really well done compilation from an excellent range of his movies-arthouse/Danish and American. Quite literally the most underappreciated actor on the planet with incredible range. He needs a Bond-like series of his own, but Hollywood is so boring-trope-formula that Hannibal was the closest he got to showcasing his real talent. His recent movie Arctic helped (he's almost solo in it the whole movie) & while Valhalla Rising is not everyone's cup of tea, he's astonishing in that. I would love to see Neflix pick up Hannibal S4 now that everyone is watching S1-3 and re-loving it. If not, I'm sure I'll get to see his local EU films more readily once I'm living in Berlin. Can't wait.

And winning Best EU Actor was a good start, and now that he's been cast as the new Grindelwald (now THERE's a difficult-to-play-properly villain) he'll receive another round of Hollywood attention that's more pointed than either of his roles as Le Chiffre or Kaecelius in Dr. Strange. He's got the perfect screen presence to play 100+ year-old character that Grindelwald is, and as a European he should have been cast in that role to begin with instead of Depp. An American was always wrong for that role imo bc of who Grindelwald is, no offense against Depp, who is very talented, but despite talent, Depp does not have as much screen presence as Mads. And you don't see the films casting some American dude to play Newt. Our culture does not produce enough young actors with real screen presence to do justice to the vision of the typical author's work, JK Rowling's work included. If there's enough script variety in Mads' role opposite Newt's character, then Hollywood (who is very 'slow' about seeing things in a more int'l light or seeing outside their convenient studio labels) might finally realize his potential for much wider appeal than they've taken advantage of previously, and give him something more Lead-Actor, less character-actor-bound-story. I know the Hannibal cast wanted an S4 closure to come full circle in the storyline, so I hope Netflix brings the cast of Hannibal into a new series so we can bring closure to the Clarice portion of the story and pick up where Hannibal left off on the phone with her where he's loose again and (hopefully) on a collision course with Will, Jack, et al.
