On the 26th, YG Entertainment revealed that Big Bang TOP and TaeYang’s new song ‘Friend’ will be revealed through the 1st episode of MBC drama ‘Friend, our legend’ to be aired on 27th June. The song ‘Friend’ is composed by TOP and Teddy, and TOP has also written the lyrics to the song personally. The drama ‘Friend’ is the drama version to famous movie ‘Friend’.
There's always songs about love, less about friends but almost none of losing a best friend because of arguments or just because you drift apart. I cried hearing this because my best friend and I drifted apart naturally, I felt and still feel very lonely. Even if I have many friends there isn't one who I trust completely because I'm not one to easily trust. This song, I really can feel the context of the lyrics.
YoungBae's voice was so sweet, he and TOP really sound good together, TaeYang seems to be great with any rapper :v Why didnt they make a single together? :(

This song means a lot to me. It was release during a hard time my friend was going through and when our other friend was just "kinda" pissing us off. It made me realize the importance of friendship and specifically what our friendship meant to us.
