Mini x looks like it works pretty well! FYI anytbing 5 feet and over in depth requires shoring per osha. Don’t let guys get killed on the job site

    Hey jason
I did stop by like 4 month ago to your location and I like this machine with the stick next to the seat

Hi, yes, the pilot control model is definitely the way to go, especially this 1.5 ton excavator is with small footprint that can be carried on the back of a full size pickup. Cheers and thanks for commenting!

I'm about to do a self build house, using cob (soil, sand, straw). I'm going to need to dig foundations, land Scape, level and grade. Which of these excavators would be best. Thsnks for all the great videos.

Hi Ed, that’s one loaded question with many variables such as site condition, soil type, foundation depth specs, etc. In reality, any machine will work, but you need to consider efficient and planning, you might need more than just an excavator, but I don’t know your situation to recommend anything. Hope that helps, and thanks for stopping by!

Hello! Thanks for your videos. I have a 1 ton machine and an F350, and see you load your machine into the bed of your pickup. Can you please share how long your ramps are, and if you have any tips and tricks. I am looking at buying 90" long ramps, but I want to make sure the angle will not be too steep to be unsafe for loading and unloading. Thanks!

The ramp I have is 9’ long. Make sure the ramp is secured to the truck, and choke the tire. Go slow, even after you get used to going up/down. Sometimes I’ll place some 2x lumbers at the bottom to help the transition. Push blade face down slope is safer (I have done all different ways, just be safe. Cheers!

What size pickup do you have? Also, what ramps? I am wondering if I can fit my HT-10 in a Ram 1500.

Mine is a 3500. The HT10s can fit on a 1500. I have seen it on a Toyota Tundra before (for short distances in town).

The final price would be around $13k when it’s all said-n-done. I’ll have a detailed video on this subject soon. Cheers and thanks for commenting!
