- Elsa Bloodstone got a nerf, but in the right decks, it's actually a buff! This Cerebro 2 deck features a cool new interaction thanks to Elsa's change, and I had to try it out.

Power Estimate: Cerebro 2 as an archetype is already a middling performer in this meta, and this version of the deck definitely didn't seem to help. Elsa Bloodstone can offer some surprising math where Cerebro decks typically have a lot of predictability, but it didn't feel like enough to overcome the raw power output of other meta standouts.

I'm getting tired they've stopped moving cards to lower series. SD is really letting that mobile game greed get to them. The spotlight chests used to only be new cards/variants when it first came out, then like literally the next week they started adding dupes which are only worth 1000 tokens...

Was playing this deck with Niko from the moment Elsa got reworked (for sweet +2 buff+ card cycling) and can say that this is surely an amazing and fun deck.
But also I can say that this deck is Allioths all you can eat buffet
At 23:00 minutes, I think you would have won a tiebreaker actually. Since if Mysterio went right, that means that mid is ahead by 16, instead, so you're still good. Either way, amazing set of games. I agree that Cerebro decks feel so finnicky. So easily disrupted by random stuff.

On OTA day I took an Elsa C2 deck to Infinite from 89. I'm glad more people are coming around and seeing what I'm seeing for my beloved C2 lists

@vincentalvarado7058 I'm a big C2 player, even when it was considered a tier 3 deck. I ran a list that's a little different than shown above. I used Nico and X-23 over Nightcrawler and Uatu, Goose over Iron Man, and M'baku over Magik. The deck actually has a lot of good matchups, as long as you get your Goose and Storm locks right.
And while I loved having Magik in my C2 deck.when she first got OTA'd to 2 power, I feel M'baku is still better, because even at his absolute worst, he's a sacrifice for Nico's draw 2.
The biggest challenge in playing the deck is actually just knowing your outs, and knowing your limitations. C2 honestly is the best deck to learn with imo because it forces you to learn the simplest strategy, and learn how to roll with the punches to stay ahead.
Even just today I played against a Hazmat/Man-Thing deck, and my Luke got Silenced. I didn't quit, gave up the Man-Thing lane, only to be Wong/Hazmated on T6, when my opponent had priority and I actually became a C1 deck on T6 and still won.
Know your limitations, know your outs, snap/retreat appropriately and C2 can be an absolute consistent deck to get, if nothing else, to high 80s-mid 90s.
Magick into Storm is for sure a super Cerebro play! 😂😂😂

I feel you that this deck doesn’t work great (glad you said that at the start 😅); but real talk, I’ve played a 7 round conquest without cerebro ever showing up; I know it’s all RNG, but this game doesn’t seem to want me to ever play and enjoy cerebro 😅 .
Ran into a version of this that ran Adam Warlock instead of Uatu. Looks fun might have to give it a try.
Seems like you would have take too many turns for Adam to gain 2 power from Elsa

I think Nico in this deck would actually rock: extra draw by killing like a storm or Magik ain't bad. Especially in a Cerebro deck

That's funny, the first clip @8:41, the Elsa buff didn't matter. Just playing Iron Man would take you to 24 to their 23. The opponent didn't do any math and just sent it.
Yeah also not a big cerebro fan. Ive tried it a few times when there was a meta(ish) version going around but i just dont like how it plays.
However everyone has his or her own preferences and i know some people really enjoy it so im never mad if an OTA or update buffs one or more of the cerebro decks.

As an avid C2 player, Forge is okay as a budget option.
@@yesuan2660He'd work something akin to Bast in C3, where their purpose is for boosts on Cerebro, Mystique or Ironman, doesn't necessarily need to be 2 power as long as it provides some synergy/benefit to the deck and new potential options during games. Not amazing by any means but a decent budget card to have in there as an option (Probably better than Uatu at least lol).
I use Forge in my C4 deck on Sinister or Brood.
You would win the tie breaker in second to last game - mysterio would be zero in the mid, so the difference would be 16vs13
I'm doing the dumb Elsa weekend challenge and every deck feels so week lmao I can't win any matches. I don't have Hit Monkey either so I can't even use the best version of the deck.
This is actually so cool. Going to be trying this and that's awesome.

I get you're not keen on the cerebro play style but in defense, C3 is waaaaaay better than C2 and puts out more power 💪🏾
C3 gets majority of the good tech and support cards (Bast, Shang, Cosmo, Valk, MMM, InvisW, SKing etc etc) which really helps it stand out as the optimum Bro deck style, it just has so many good options to mix and match with.

I don't understand how cerebro 3 could ever actually be better than cerebro 2. What the hell does c3 even have going for it genuinely??
C3 has Bast and Valk to make Cerebro, Mystique, Iron Man and other 2 power cards to receive the buff and has a lot of good tech cards such as Mobius, Shadow King, Shang Chi, Cosmo, etc.
With Elsa to give cards +2 power they are very similar now, but if you don't draw Elsa early, you can't make a good use of her ability and you usually end up with less power than C3 in general.
I wish Ravonna was a 2/2, the card has no play now.
Just be careful not putting your Blue Marvel last.

@@brunomendonca4606 sorry it's not specified enough, don't put BM last because it might trigger Elsa turning him into 5 power which would cause cerebro to target him.
To your question, BM doesn't buff himself, so he turns other 2powers to 3powers, which make Cerebro can target him too.

75% of the time I'm playing Cerebro2, 3 or 5, a stupid dino pops or my opponent throws a masterful Titania...
I think you're trying too much with blue marvel and iron man. Here's the decklist I made a few hours before you posted this and I noticed a couple players trying elsa cerebro in matches. I've had a good win rate with this I feel like. I tried a few matches with Nico but it just wasn't consistent feeling so I switched back to Adam warlock.

I run her in mine. I use Nico and X-23 instead of Nightcrawler and Uatu. Also Regis at 13:15 doesn't understand that Nico's only bad abilities in C2 are Demon and Double. The +2 is great on Cerebro is amazing for when you don't draw Elsa.

Why couldn’t you play shadow king that 2nd match where it was c2 vs c3?? It wouldn’t have done anything to your cards right?
Because it would have eaten the Cerebro Buff and everything else would have been depowered.
SK being 3 power would make it the highest power card, giving it Cerebro buff and removing it from all the 2 power cards, totally wrecking the deck's synergy.
No offense I usually don't like your decks cause their isnt any protection for cards but I like this deck alot its different
