When i drive out a Slotted Spring Pin I always make sure there is a magnet nearby to catch it otherwise it's hunt the bleeding thing. My friend uses a shotgun cartridge and a lot of camera flashes as well.

Now if video like this were available when I was a kid you know I would have used live 22s working up to live shotgun shells. I did enough crazy things with ammunition when I was a kid anyway.
@@markrainford1219 As a kid I would not use blanks, in fact I guess I made zip guns since they talked about prisoners making them. Early 410 shells you could replace the primer with a 22 and it was offset enough to fire. Did you know the early ping- pong rifles could shoot chicken eggs? 🤣

Hi Yes it would be easy to make. I just bought one to save time as I have so many projects. I made a proper .22 blank firer based on a sleeve pistol some time ago, plus a gun dog .22 dummy launcher for gun dog training. They are amongst my RUclips videos if you can find them in a search. The shot doesn't go anywhere, the side of the case just splits open. Erm apparently.

so is the .22 louder than the shot gun blank . or just cheaper to buy
They are much cheaper to buy but are still loud enough. Also they are much safer.
