I still remember being in love with Farid’s car but all these years later I still get chills from how much personality this game had and omg did they put together a good track list
Midnight Club 2 was straight vibes, man... MC3 was the better game for sure but you can't beat the atmosphere/vibes of Midnight club 2, also I would argue that MC2 soundtrack was better paced for the racing that progressively gets tougher and tougher and the soundtrack pairs well with this as it gets more intense.
I kinda wonder about the music that’s in the video, because it’s copyrighted content but I’m guessing the holder allows you to use the music if the video is monetized

Thumbs up if you want an HD remake, with re-modelled & re-textured cities, HD versions of every car, including all of the brands from GTA IV and onwards, like Karin Saikou, Dewbauchee Victory, 1971 Imponte Bestie, etc, with re-mastered voice-overs, and lots of unlockables, like if you beat the game, complete all the circuits, you can enable cops in Arcade cruise mode.
I'm Algerian and Rockstar did a very VERY great job portraying us like this, i mean i may not be an ugly, lying, stealing bastard myself, but most of the Algerian people out there are like that, i would be surprised if an Algerian is reading my comment and actually understands it, because the classic small minded Algerian guy would probably not agree with what i'm saying.
I could never take this race as serious back then. Both Farid and his Stadt. This race had it's moments, but i remember i aced both races right through within the 2nd or 3rd attempt, most of the times i would be way ahead. It to me was one of the easiest of all races in the game, a relief, like i finally caught a break. Savo, Jesus Christ... But eventually i became good enough to defeat him with the Cocotte with unlimited nitrous, at least, to keep up, and slipstreams to stay up to speed and surpass the rest. The only other code i put was greenlantern09, which was the hardest mode possible. The Stadt was a decent car, but relatively useless after Owens race. This car came late to the party. By the time you aquired this car, you had already finished with almost all of the tight handling races there is left to do. It would of been helpful towards earlier on in Paris against the Fripon X, Alarde, Boost, and Primo's Vortex. (of course you could still race it later in Tokyo against Ricky). But by then there would be more open roads and straight away's than tight twists an turns. And with this car pushing 157-163mph max, versus the Vortex at 177mph, and that car has super tight handling and good acceleration as well, would just make the Stadt pointless since Vortex beats it in every way. Making Stadt irrelevant at that point. And by then you'd already have the Paris champions whip. And that could barely keep up with the games 350Z. Although after getting that car, it feels cheap, faster, but not as finely tuned as the porsche, and i hate those car's. But the 350z's only saving grace is it's top speed at 203mph, vs the porsche's 187mph, but superior handling and acceleration making up for it. Kinda ran off course their...
Yeah it was for the nitrous. But i had that turned off when i first checked back then. But the howhardcanitbe09 is still active till this day. So everytime i play, i'm literally playing on its most difficult mode possible. My gripe is theirs this glitch where at some point in a super long race, the car's after crashing/exploding, or just overtime, the A.I. would just stop. They'd just never move anymore. No spawning. Nothing. It's gotten to the point where even if i force a spawn by battering there car until they explode, and they respawn, they still won't budge. Locked in place. Never moving again. I can't seem to fix this problem, other then just not participating in long custom races anymore. Also, another glitch with the audio. Some tracks just won't play. Sometimes even mixing with glitchy sounds. It's a mess, and would keep repeating. As if the devil himself is trying to communicate through the speakers. It's the strangest thing. So, i'd have to turn down the sound effects, or skip certain audio tracks. I heard the online is still up and running in some underground forum for the PC. But i don't have PC. But yeah, i still play till this day. It's just one of those go-to games.

The best race I have ever done in this game. The Catacombs were fucking epic. I also beat Farid with a Cochote. I thin its the cochote? The very first car you get.
