    In this video, I realized that the area of the parallelogram which has the edges PQ and v gives me the same equation without knowing the cross product etc.
    What I mean is the area = |PQ| * |v| *sinØ = D *|v|.

    What is the difference between finding the distance between a point and a plane equation and doing this method? I'm confused as to why you would use one or the other in different situations
