Here we show how to find the shortest distance from a point to a line in 3D space. In this video we primarily focus on the theory of how to compute this distance, while in the next video we will work through an example.
this was super helpful
That information about the line in space coefficients making the V and P(x,y,z) helped a lot.
great explanation thanks sir
exactly what i was looking for !!
Great explaination ❤️
I really like your videos, and prefer them over Khan and JMT :)
Qbabxtra - Thanks for the giant compliment -- I appreciate that! :)
Hehe, just remember me when you go big and become "that famous mathguy". ;)
Qbabxtra You got it!
me too
Midsummer light - Awesome! Thanks for watching! :)
In this video, I realized that the area of the parallelogram which has the edges PQ and v gives me the same equation without knowing the cross product etc.
What I mean is the area = |PQ| * |v| *sinØ = D *|v|.
No word sir thank you
Very clear and informative thank you
Very much powerful explanation. Love it👌👌
my GOAT!
OMG! sir thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much finally i understand it:"(((
love it!! straight to the point!
God job prof. I love it !
What is the difference between finding the distance between a point and a plane equation and doing this method? I'm confused as to why you would use one or the other in different situations
Same hereee
thank you so much for the wonderful videos
I appreciate this a lot!
Thanks bro :)
Plz man clear our doubts as well
Really good

THANKS A LOOOOOOT
ax +by +cz ÷ by underroot a^2 +b^2 .......this is the formula to find point to line rytttt???????
vector is so hard i am dropping out
