- Hey everyone! Here's my initial thoughts of this Chanel Gabrielle. I have used it since I got it . I didn't like this bag when it first launched, but the look has really grown on me....
Anyway, in this video, I've took my Chanel Jumbo to do a comparison (because I heard it is quite similar in size), did a "What's In My Bag" and some mod shots for your reference.

Great review Kat! Yes this bag requires very few chain adjustments, I agree! I wore my mini and I had it on my shoulder and it was driving me nuts so I can only wear it cross body or deal with the bag slipping non stop.

Babe ... this is by far the best review on the Gabby bag. The creasing didn’t bother me because it’s aged calfskin anyway. Glad you like yours .. I love mine and my all time fav so far ...my only gripe is the edges of the base bordering the ages calfskin shows some wear but I live with it 😋

you're so productive, dear! we know how hard you must have been dealing with your mom's surgery and London trip, and yet you can still regularly update your yt content! Btw, I kinda prefer your old 'casual slouching in the living room' background. :D. feels more homey and genuine :). Not that the current background isnt nice, it's still pretty!

I just subscribed you are so real and unpretentious. I got the Gabrielle hobo and I absoulety love it. At first I thought it was so ugly but after I looked at it again I had to have it. A wonderful beautiful durable bag. Btw your eyebrows look great.

Very thorough and thoughtful review. I’ve found that hobo bags are not for me but Chanel’s idea of having a double chain worn like that is interesting especially for traveling. I love love your Chanel Deauville for sure. Have a safe trip and I’m looking forward to your London vlogs.

I just saw this bag today in the mini, wallet on the chain size. Wa!! Expensive for the mini size one, but it is growing on me in my mind. I may go back and buy it.

Went back to the Chanel store yesterday and exchanged the Business Affinity style I had for the small Flap with handle (terrible name!). Took another look at the mini Gabrielle again. It has the hard leather bottom, and in the middle your phone slips right in and on either sides it has credit card holders. It's quite cute. I did see it on thepuseforum under Celebrities wearing Chanel. I passed on it for now because I just bought the Hermes Toolbox 20 (thanks to your & WinnieY's reviews) so I'm on ban island right now, lol.

I have the Gabrielle in black and white in small size and I use it daily and because it's small I can use it as a clutch for going out at night. It's perfect

Gabrielle bag is edgy! love it! saw it when I went for a style event. they have a super mini. sooo cute but Samsung note 8 can't fit in the slot. thank you as always for a great review beautiful! you might find another gorgeous Chanel while in UK 😍😍I'm of no help am I. Big agree. The bag is awesome 😍. The chains are so much fun. Small size is so cute. And I love the Black because the chains pop on the black. Can wear it so many ways even short too handle. Amazing, unique and different.

awesome video. The Chanel Gabrielle is a very common causal Chanel bag. I prefer the Chanel single flap or double flap bag but I tuned into this video just to hear your personal review of this bag. Recently a year ago or less the Chanel hobo 2020 bag came out. Do you own that bag? I would love to see a review on that bag.

I just got the large cc Trendy and so far it’s not super fragile. But I didn’t get it for everyday. It is my love. I adore the look and became obsessed with it when I saw Anine Bing wear it on her Instagram account. I’m Interested in the Gabrielle bag as s true crossbody bc I’m 5’10” and most CHANEL straps aren’t long enough. Great review!

It's been a couple months now since you uploaded this video. Is your opinion still stand? Or are you already get bored with it? Is it holding up fine or you'd rather suggest against buying it? I'm a mom and I work full-time so I have lots of stuff to tote around. I don't abuse my bag, but I don't pamper it. I just wonder if it can withstand a normal usage.

Hi Kat!, this bag has growing on me....waited for so long till today i am ready to check out the utube. till i bump into your video. do u think its good to get this bag since its launced in 2017. i am petite short 4' 10 only. the mini size cant store much. but the medium size good for storing.
It is a good bag to get if you love the style and you use it! otherwise, if you just keep it, then no - don't :)

actually, it will go very well with dresses. I find that it is very versatile and can jazz up a formal outfit yet blend into a casual look too.

Any problems with color transfer?
YES! *CRYYYY * I rubbed it against my black winter jacket and I got AWFUL black stains on it. But i managed to get it out with a super duper leather cleaner!
Yikes! What leather cleaner did you use? I am getting a small beige/black soon so any information is much appreciated.
it's called Collonil (check out my instagram, about 8 rows down from the top. I got a picture of the cleaners and the awful stain it removed!) It's pretty strong so test it on a tiny spot first but OMG, it's amazzinnggggg)
