That chorus really digs under your skin in an eerie and haunting way. If you ask me, this is one of the greatest produced Hip Hop songs of all time. Not to mention that this belongs in the top 25 best albums of any person who considers themselves a Hip Hop head. The production, themes, lyricism, features, and even all the way down to that iconic cover are all just perfect. It's unimaginable to ask for a better Stoupe produced album.
Seriously, this is my favorite JMT album by far.

Vespers are the sunset prayers of Abrahamic religions, the "evensong." Juju is a reference to shamanism and the spells of witch doctors originating in West Africa, thus the "old soul magic" he rhymes about. And "African pajamas" is a reference to dashiki, traditional African dress.
