The five explained what had happened. Mavis, Daisy and Diesel were at Vicarstown Stepney and D261 had arrived to help out during the busy time. When they all heard of the blast the five made their way around Sodor searching for survivors. After the engines explained The Beast situation, they came up with a plan. They were gonna use the rail gun to destroy. So the engines charged in, but The Beast came up too close to them, therefore they couldn’t aim properly or fire without blowing themselves up. The Beast came right up to Thomas who screamed, it looked like the end. Suddenly a loud whistle echoed around the area, the engines looked and saw Duck charging towards them with fuel tankers and dynamite vans, Duck yelled at them to move and so they did. Duck then slammed on his brakes hard. The petrol tankers and dynamite vans went flying town the track towards The Beast, Mavis then fired a missile and the two hit The Beast at the same time then BOOM!!!!!! The engines opened there eyes and saw a massive crater in the ground, and there sitting at the very bottom was the rusted remains of The Beast as well as James. While the engines were relieved that The Beast was gone, they were also devastated knowing that they had lost their dear friend James. Once Duck rejoined them, the cavalcade made their way back down the line, back to Percy, Emily, Toad and the coaches. To be continued………….
