Witness Says He Bit Ohio Man’s Face to Wrestle Gun Away During Murder

As the trial against Quinton Nixon continued on Tuesday afternoon, witness Brian Fielders took the stand to recall what he witnessed the night his ex-girlfriend, Toni Westover, was allegedly fatally shot by Nixon. Fielders claims that everything was normal before the crime, then things escalated quickly, and Nixon suddenly attacked Westover. Fielders said he had to wrestle Nixon to the ground to retrieve a gun from him, during which he also bit the side of Nixon’s face.

Ohio man Quinton Nixon, 31, was arrested in August 2022 following a standoff with Akron police for allegedly shooting and killing 34-year-old mother Toni Westover. Westover was found dead inside a Kenmore home in July 2022. Police searched for Nixon after receiving several tips about his whereabouts and eventually found him hiding inside a University Park attic. Nixon was charged with murder and will represent himself during the trial. He faces life in prison.

Sounds like the witness was on the phone. The witness thinking he was trying to get his lady and he reacted foolishly, they fought . She pulled her gun out on him, he took the gun and shot. The witness is the cause of it all. He sound like a problem.
