so happy with mine, and incase anyone was wondering, yes it does pack up as small as when you get it from the shop, my exped megamat 10 single is actually longer when rolled up than the swag, either way with both of them straped togeather it is perfect for the back of the motor bike and i reckon i would actually be able to get a spare change of cloths in the bag aswell.
Great vid, as always Ben. When readying the swag for loading it into the carry bag, I'd place the pump hose along the length of the bag first (or last) rather than bending it as you did. I could imagine a tube snapping prematurely otherwise & it would be a pain to repair. 👍
Yeah, I wasn't quite sure of the best way to pack the hose. It's longer than the bag, but if you lay it around the rolled tent it would certainly reduce how much it bends in the same spot each time. You would just need to be aware of how you transport it so as not to damage the hose if it isn't protected inside the rolled tent. ~ Ben
I guess you could if you had a suitable fitting, but it's not recommended. You risk damaging/overinflating the air tubes if you are not monitoring closely. ~ Ben

Yes, that would be perfect for solo trips on my motorcycle 👍👍
Great option for motorcycle tourers for sure. ~ Ben
How much smaller and lighter do you think it would be without the mattress and pump, please?
@@LukeTPZ if you removed mat and pump I'd hazard a guess at saying that you'd probably make it about 20-25% smaller and maybe 10-15% lighter. ~ Ben

Great video !
Thanks, Ian. ~ Ben
Interesting setup.. is it possible to be inflated with and air compressor do you think?

Yes Dometic make a pump Dometic Gale 12v, it also allows you set the PSI you want.
well to be honest its a lot better then my darche air swag. only thing I see that needs improvement is the base of the swag.
What is it that you don't like about the base, Azza? ~ Ben
Could you use it on a camp stretcher at all
You could, but it wouldn't be ideal, you really need to peg this swag out to get the most out of it. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors ok thankyou
Is there a fitted sheet or mattress protector available?
Nothing specific to this swag, Wayne, I'd recommend using an old sheet from home if you want to cover the mat with something. ~ Ben
