  • This trail is different from the usual singletrack and you can choose unlimited amount of lines. If you go here it will be a different MTB experience for sure. The area around Narvik in north Norway Nordland and north Sweden Lapland is great for enduro biking, Reinnesfjellet, Ankenes, Narvikfjellet, Riksgränsen, Luossavaara and Låktatjåkko to name a few of the amazing places.

(The trail is pretty hard to navigate because of the rock slabs which show no sign of trail. For the first ride I would recommend to have a gps with handlebar mount or try your own line (which could result in some push the bike but will be very cool as well!))

If you're looking for an updated version, I just dropped a video riding Reinnesfjellet and other mountains in Skjomen. You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/iqAoAt9ewK4/видео.html

If you only have one car, where do you recommend parking? Bottom and ride up and down?

I parked at the bottom and pushed up and down, it was quite hard and took a while, but doable. Just doing the first peak is also quite nice and something I plan on doing. The push between the peaks was the hardest part for me. If you prefer pedaling uphill I think parking at the bottom and road-pedal to the uphill road on the other side of the mountain might be a good choice

Thanks to you, I have ridden this trail today. I have watched this film some months ago and it never seemed to leave my mind. Now I was in the neighbourhood, i just had to try it. It is a truly magnificent ride, however it is not nearly as peaceful as it seems in your film. It is mostly push-bike and it is near impossible to navigate without constant course corrections. Have you ridden here more often, being a local? because otherwise you must be extremely talented, seeing the speeds you get up to. Ride on!

Sick man! You have then ridden one of the craziest trails in the region!! It for sure has some gnarly bits so that's normal. The thing I find cool with this trail is that it's pretty much a one of a kind. The stone slabs are perfect for you to select your own route, you could basically go here 1000 times and almost never touch the same slab still with the same start and finishing point! Though I understand that the first time this might cause some navigation problems. Many people actually go here with a guide.

@@joarpaganus thanks for posting the vid, you made it possible 👍 Are you also the one who put it on trailforks? I found I couldn't deviate too much from that, and if I kept to it quite strictly, then it would be a much easier ride, although like you say, it looks like there are literally 1000s of routes one could take. I will be back here some day for sure and try again!

@@ruudvaleton1 Awesome that the video made you try it! One of the cool locals were the one to put it on trailforks! I think it's the best route for a first time trip but very hard to navigate without a mount on the handlebar because of the slabs which show no sign of trail. Thanks a lot for pointing it out, I will put it in the description as well! Keep riding!🙂

Amazing scenery in Norway go figure and an awesomeness trail too. The soundtrack to the vid ruined it in my opinion, didn't go with the video at all!
