The key to biceps tendon rehabilitation is doing repeated 1 oz Glencairn reps. Then you increase to 2 oz to accomplish what professional trainers call “Progressive Overload.” 💪 Then keep going, if you know what I mean, Arnold. 😅
Thank you so much for this! Again and again, I love the humor. Here in Virginia the product is available in my ABC store for $49.99. Will get a bottle on my way home from work
Glad you're finally trying this one. Can't wait to hear your opinions. Work now but will watch later. This was one of my favorite cost per drink bottles of the year!
I unintentionally warmed up a sample of Found North batch 008 one evening. When I poured it the scent of whiskey filled the space around my face like I walked into a whiskey based candle shop. I warm up all my pours of FN now.
My bourbon Sherpa buddy and I always do our tastings at the fire table during the cold nights, and one of the benefits is letting that glencairn sit near the fire for a minute - we get the same effect you describe. 🤙
Picked up a Green River Full Proof store pick here in Texas. Love finding very good value bourbon during the uber LE and hard to acquire bourbon times we be living in 🎉
I stopped by an allocation release this morning and had this bottle in my hands since it was on sale, but I put it back. I couldn't justify buying multiple bottles this morning. On the bright side i did get a bottle of John J Bowman single barrel.
I was in KY and found it for 45 so bought the last 2 on the shelf. I think it’s great at that price. Full flavor that has a really good oily buttery palate. The bit of ethanol I got on opening went away after a day. Apple butterscotch butter pecan ice cream ish. Cheers!
I’m tasting the GR full proof while watching, but also against Cam’s single barrel pick. Drums and Drams pick is darker in color, more viscous, richer in flavor. It still has some of the same apple notes, but is higher proof (132.2) and I believe it may be older. Love the video, tho nipless
I bought a few bottles of this at Kroger here in Kentucky back around July. It was Full Proof but 117.8 proof. I thought it was very good for the $45 on sale price at that time. I like the straight bourbon, rye, and wheated offerings from Green River as well.
I love this juice for the price point which is $49.99 here in Florida. You must have the second batch of these, because the first 3 bottle i had were all 117.3 proof and had an amazing apricot finishing note.
Another great bourbon for around the $60 price in my opinion is Heaven Hill's 7-year-old bottled in bond. On the other hand, if you'd like a good full proof offering, on the cheap, get Benchmark Full Proof. And then a good rye whiskey which has a good oak character to it is Michter's single barrel straight rye. Here in Central Kentucky it sells for around the $55 mark.
Warm that SOB! I picked up a single barrel full proof in Kentucky last month. Great mouthfeel and oak compared to the batched. Great pour for the price. Cheers 🥃
Closer to $50 in Missouri. Great deal. It's in the same tier as Rare Breed for me and I think I might prefer it (being a little bit cheaper doesn't hurt.)
The Green River single barrels I've tried so far have been outstanding! It's also fascinating the difference since BBCo purchased the distillery. In a few short years, the distillery has gone from producing young, overpriced swill for celebrity brands and NDPs (as OZ Tyler) to joining the ranks of the "up and coming" KY distilleries with a solid product range under their own label.
I use snifter glasses and soak them in almost boiling hot water before I pour a new drink or something different in it. Whiskey is the only warm drink I like, yes even coffee I do not like. But glen cairins barley hold their heat from hot ass water.
Interestingly (is that a real word?). I had two bottles of full proof, and one was very astringent, and tasted like band aids, the other was better, leaning towards the wheated offering.😮
Great review, Matt! Quick question: what do you have against people named Cody, lol? I'm not called Cody, so I don't care. But I really want to know what "Cody" did to piss you off! Was it his speaking up in the Heaven Hill meeting, or something else?

Green River Full Proof is a good $50 bottle to me and enjoy it. Wish it was available locally.
These are $45 to $52 in my area. Great value for good whiskey. Incredibly good video today.
Binny's had the GR Full Proof on sale for $39.99, love it, one of my favorite bottles, bought a backup
Thank you so much for this! Again and again, I love the humor. Here in Virginia the product is available in my ABC store for $49.99. Will get a bottle on my way home from work
Friggin Cody! Picked this up today and I’m excited to try it
Got one for 52 and was thrilled. Very high quality and good depth. Can't wait for a full proof Rye from Green River.
Love Green River full proof!! It’s neck to neck with New Riff SBBF!

Saw it here yesterday for under $50. Now I'll have to go back and try it.
Nice review! I’m in California and in my area the full proof is 49.99 and very nice. Haven’t had any single barrel yet. Cheers!

With tax I paid 56.70 in Indiana. It was very good and your review was right on!

Got that for 42 at a Costco in Merrillville IN yesterday. Fantastic

Love the FP, had a single barrel at Jack Rose that was awesome! Cheers everyone!
I picked up a single barrel last month at the distillery. Very good a little better in my opinion than the full proof
I love it! Wish I didn't finish my bottle off already.
I got one a few days ago after doing a tasting. $45 otd which is right about what I find rare breed for which I think is the closest comparison
Closer to $50 in Missouri. Great deal. It's in the same tier as Rare Breed for me and I think I might prefer it (being a little bit cheaper doesn't hurt.)
Most Total Wines west of the Mississippi have this at $50.

Their cask strength single barrels are bangers fo sho!
Another spectacular review thank you for your service

To edit or not to edit….that is the question. Great video either way!
Really enjoyed this pour especially for the price
Thanks for the review.
I dig the wheater version.
We can get it for $39.99 here in Louisville at TW. This is one of the best quality to price bourbons on the market now IMO.
OMG. Still not too bad here in Houston at 48 bucks. Exceptional value.
Bring back the long pour
Not sure i get the hype on Green River full proof or single barrel.. I have a single barrel and it's one of the worst bourbons I have
I have one, and it's ok, but I'd much rather have a Rare Breed or a Knob Creek store pick for about the same price.
Very good juice. Daily sipper quality
Costco sells Green River Full Proof for $38. Bonkers good deal. Green River is clearly wholesaling it at a good price.
Pretty good and affordable 🍻
I drink this bottle to prepare my palate to appreciate other bottles.
Even cheaper here in Texas, I can get that for $46 all day long. Best bang for buck bourbon I have.
It’s $45 in Texas and I gave it a 7.6!!!
Interestingly (is that a real word?). I had two bottles of full proof, and one was very astringent, and tasted like band aids, the other was better, leaning towards the wheated offering.😮
I love every green river that i have had

In the $60 range, I think this gives Rare Bred a run for the $$$
This bottle is $40 at the Kroger near me.
Thx for the review
I’m underwhelmed by this bottle
Very average for me
Friggin Cody!
Lookin' white hot señor!! Love the content!
I would like to see this get some age on it, and compete with Elijah Craig Barrel Proof offerings.
Wonder if they have the stock for that. Heaven hill has a massive amount of stored older whiskey
White t-shirt. I was thinking toga, Matt.
Green River Wheated is the only juice I've spit out so far on my long and extensive bourbon journey...I hope this is better.
Maybe my favorite full proof bourbon for $50 or less
49.99 in Tennessee
Must watch to the very end! 🤣😂
It’s sooo good
Hey buddy, are you still bus driving.?
Dude how did Cody hurt you?
I forgot I have YT set to 1.5x speed... lets just say you look like you had your coffee.
Ethic quandary: are you going to go back and pay for that?
It is so tasty
Young and hot. Another 2 years and it will be much more rounded off. I was a little disappointed in this one. GR rye is phenomenal though.
WT Rare Breed vs GR FP
Rare Breed!
If you paid 60 you overpaid by about 20
🍻
Blend this with Rare Breed... thank me later.
This guy is weird af
Nips look good
I’m sure it’s great. But it also reminds me what a spectacular deal OGD114 continues to be in terms of proof per dollar. 😊
