In 2018 I said that nobody born during or after Y2K was allowed to be an adult ever, but nobody listened to me.

I think the reason a lot of these tv famous kids seem younger is because what we see of them on tv is delayed from filming to airing.

She's been abused in some way her whole life (found out recently her mom has been dying her hair bleach blond since she was *two*, for example), and now defends her abusers and other abusers she knows while also repeating the abuse

And has very openly shaded Maddie and Mackenzie multiple times for the way they choose to approach their time on dance moms now as adults.
Oh also that she seemingly just started swearing and being an actual teenager out of nowhere and that now she’s trying a new singing career that’s so clearly auto tuned and is being so overly promoted on her insta- the whole thing is just cringe 😭

I loved Jojo when I was younger I was always so sad because the bows were always out of stock when I stopped liking Jojo siwa Music because my friend said she was bullied about liking her music so I stopped liking her but that doesn’t mean because your friend doesn’t like something you can’t like it
I didn't really know anything about her, just kinda the basics, and I was so sad when she defended Colleen. It was pretty clear that she's been very desensitized to abuse and grooming but while it explains, it doesn't excuse. From there I was worried she'd fall into the cycle and now we know. Not surprising but still sad and frustrating.

Im older so i wouldnt, but nobody my younger siblings ages that i know of knew who she was - i asked when this drama started. We dont live in america so maybe that's why? American tv is popular here but no kids were watching the reality shows like dance moms. Nickelodian was popular but we watched Disney. Feel like those shows had better stories and looking back, theyve aged better.

Honestly I feel bad for JoJo. Growing up in the spotlight it seems to me like she didn't spend much time around healthy, well-adjusted adults. So of course she's going to justify hanging out with abusers. I'm not saying she deserves zero-blame as plenty of people who've grown up under similar circumstances were able to break those cycles and do better.
