“Todd is so pure, clean, distinct….. then you add Daryl into the mix and what do you get? Pure “perfection, excellence. And refined vocals at its best. 5 stars are in heaven shining down on you.
That guitarist is Paul Pesco who has a long line of credits not only with Dary’s show, but also as musical director of Hall & Oates, a session musician and collaborator with Madonna, Steve Winwood, Jennifer Lopez, and many film credits. He is incredibly talented and should get far more public recognition.
One of the greatest song writers and singers ever probably should get more credit than he does I'm not sure if he's in the rock and roll hall of Fame yet but he definitely deserves to be
Maybe im being biased cos it were a time of my childhood, (when all i had to worry about was, whether my older sister got an extra hour downstairs than me towards bedtime), but f me, nothing bts the nievly, melancholy, flowerpowered, peace man, easy listening tunes of the 70s; this enduringly breezy, lazy-hazy tune just confirms it t me. Simply love it
Oh darling I couldn't agree with you more I saw Todd Rundgren in concert in Central Park on his birthday and he shut off a firework display and he just sat on the end of the stage I jumped the Press line with my friend who had a press pass and ran down and tried to meet him to no avail but I've always thought he was one of the most talented men ever
That is one bizarre time signature. I’m tapping my toes trying to figure it out. Maybe it’s different than the original? Anyways I just watched part of a video where Todd told Jesse Waters, “If you’re a Trump supporter don’t come to my show!” I was laughing pretty hard. I’m neutral on Trump - I think he has some great ideas but he has trouble gaining support and he’s a blowhard - but I laughed, nonetheless. I just added a book about Todd on my WishList and I downloaded a sample and read a few pages. Supposedly people say Todd’s one of the most difficult people to get along with but those same people begrudgingly admit he’s a “genius” but the word most people use is “sarcastic.”::Anyways Todd’s an amazing musician and singer and I did get a great laugh today learning more about him.
Love this .I being of Mexican decent have always wondered why is it always the musician of some Hispanic decent who is the "cheese bag dumb ass" in the band? Please hold back hate, obviously I do not include Tito Puente,Desi Arnez,Los Lobos, and others of this caliber in this category. I am positive some know exactly what I am trying to convey here.Yes,I understand the skills and talents of this particular musician that is not what am pointing out.

Love Daryl Hall and this version of I saw the light in your eyes; it is a true work of genius!
The guitarist in the middle used to be on Darryl’s house or whatever it’s called. He’s really good and I wish he was still there.

Is it me or does Todd’s older voice mimic Roy Orbison a tad? This is a wonderful collab.
