Wonderful, I've been looking for this for years!!! It's scripts were only a second best to Porridge in its crafting and twisting plot! Thanks for uploading them!!
Bill Maynard should have been held in more espect for his comedy genious acting. Absolutely priceless remember watching these as a kid and Cowboys which was hilarious.
I remember this, Pat Ashton played a Clippy in TV series On The Buses, Scotsman, Russell Hunter played Loany in Callan, and Bill Maynard in a variety of rolls, Leslie Sarony as Jack, Stephen Hancock who was in Coronation Street, are all sadly no longer with us.
Jack Sugden This featured Christopher Hancock, who played Charlie Cotton in EastEnders, an easy mistake to make as his brother Stephen was Ernie Bishop in Corrie.
@@jonsmith20766 Stephen Hancock also appeared in another episode of The Gaffer as a police sergeant or whatever in the episode where Charlie got married
Friday's tea time and it was first aired in 1981..and there has never been any re runs as Yorkshire TV owns copyright and won't sell to the rival companies...
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?
Brilliant Better Than The Shite On Tv These Days.
Loved this when it first appeared, still love it now. Thank u for uploading
R.I.P. Bill. 🙏 Greengrass in Heartbeat, enjoyed anything that Bill played in.
Thanks again,
This is basically Greengrass but all his dodgy deals are legal, meaning Blaketon can't touch him! 🤣
😂
...your dinner is in the supermarket..." Wish I had thought to tell my husband that when he was my husband :-))))
Brilliant! Nostalgic stuff! You won't get comedies with this level of Machiavellian genius these days. Kids are too dumb.
Kids are too dumb - I blame the parents xD
Ur moms dumb
Maybe that’s only what they want you to think 😀

Pat Ashton struggled to keep a straight face when Bill Maynard was on form.
Pat was a lovely looking Gal from the time, easily as gorgeous as Babs Windsor! dx
Agreed !
One of the great 70s British tv and film sex symbols.....she was in my thoughts growing up
@Steven Hickman damb straight , I second him , hear hear..
Agreed. She got better looking the older she got as well, especially here.
She was like fine wine maturing over time she looked gorgeous the older time went on ❤

Good show, thanks for uploading. The writers of the theme tune should be suing Genesis, the end of "Land of Confusion" and this are the same.
