As a Sombra main, I fully consider McCree to be a better counter to Doom than she is. Yeah, he’s useless hacked but if you can’t ever get hacks off, that doesn’t matter. Doom can come in so fast that he can usually do whatever he needs to before the hack finishes (even if the Sombra knows he’s coming from a rollout over rooftops and is waiting for him), which winds up with him trading at worst and getting a pick and getting out at best. McCree, on the other hand, can instantly flashbang and right click and Doom is dead every time. Doesn’t help that they buffed McCree’s health. McCree is a menace to everyone though.

This apparently didn’t scream overtuned all those months ago to not only the playerbase but blizzard. I’ve been saying crees broken day 1 of his overbuff, not even that long ago people were saying he’s the most balanced character in the game lol. Nerf either stun duration or health, he cannot have both
The flick at 13:33 to turn and slam away was gross, I couldn't even see him turn. Wish I could do that on console but the sensitivity limits are so low
That’s the best thing to do when there’s a hyper aggressive hero like Doomfist on the enemy team. He’s got to come to your team to do anything so you have to stay with them. You can’t flank or your supports will die 100%. Plus sitting behind shields means your hacks won’t ever get interrupted and you’ll be free to get him when he comes in UNLESS he’s got a Zarya bubble. Then there’s literally nothing you can do about it which is a little busted. It’s one of the very few interactions in this game that I despise. It requires a support ult to counter a good Doomfist with a bubble lol
I personally main a lot of close-ranged heroes like Sombra, Mei, Reaper, and DoomFist. Here’s my personal tip for everyone trying to learn DoomFist: If there’s a really good enemy Sombra on the opposing team, try to stay with the team and flank a lot less. It’s usually a habit for the average DoomFist player to go off on their own and pull off flanks, but that is much more difficult once a Sombra is on the enemy team. Staying with your team rather than flanking is typically more productive than getting hacked and dying with nobody around to back you up.

Its obvious that you are one of the best doomfist and know the match up against sombra but 4:25 was absolutely a fluke we all have killed a random sombra or tracer
trust me it's not a fluke. i do it all the time. you gotta know how the sombra plays and your able to predict things like this. i had a sombra die, i paid attention when she respawns. i imagined me going sombra running invis to flank my team to get a hack off and i charged my punch at the entrance of the flank and killed her while invis with no audio queues other than her respawning and i do this quite often.

That's why as sombra I hide behind shields and hack from front. They get hacked as soon as they're aggressive.
