      Especially being on the upper floors. In the south tower a man named Kevin cosgrove was stuck on the 105th floor and was still on the line with 911 when the tower collapsed, it was graphic and there was 2 seconds of screaming before the line cut. I don't remember exactly where I was that morning other than being on a vending route in a break room somewhere on the vending route I was working @ that time, but where ever I was there was a television on and it had already interrupted with breaking news and when I first saw the television screen a news camera had been focused on the south tower already and the news anchor was narrating the fact that a airliner had just flown into the south tower and while the news anchor was narrating about the current scenes that were being witnessed, another airliner appeared and crashed into the north tower. I immediately knew that it was just a matter of time until both twin towers were going to collapse because I'm sure the temperature of the ignited jet fuel far exceeded the steel beams original temperature of the steels original temperament, I knew that once the tempered temperature was exceeded that the steel would crystalize and become brittle and would lose its strength and begin to collapse..
      I can't believe that they firemen were not aware of this fact before they ever approached either building & in reality, even though it may sound cold to think such but those firefighters should have been running away from those building instead of running to them; simply put because the unfortunate truth is that the people that were unfortunately already in the building were sitting ducks and the firemen rushing towards the buildings were in reality only adding to the eventual casualties numbers simply because there was NO TIME TO SAFELY RESCUE ANYONE OUT OF EITHER OF THE TWIN TOWERS ONCE THE JET FUEL IGNITED. . . . . .I JUST HOPE & PRAY FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THE VICTIMS THAT THEIR SUFFERING WAS QUICKLY OVER WITH AND SUCH THAT THEY DID NOT SUFFER A PROLONGED DEMISE. AND MAY THEY ALL REST IN PEACE.

    It's very interesting to stare at the perimeter columns as they come down, like the sequence of how they fall and how some of the columns seem to temporary find a solid standing point to teether on, appearing higher than the collapse smoke before ultimately collapsing as well (see the piece of the NW perimeter at 1:46-1:55 and the South Tower collapse footage as well). It might also explain the damage to WTC 7, the Plaza, and elsewhere.
    Also you might as well take some time to see if you can spot straight shapes in the smoke that might indicate portions of the structure standing after the initial collapse, particularly for attempting to spot for rare sightings of the South Tower core.

    2:54 i understand the explanation that the building collapsed due to the weight of the upper floors cascading through the lower floors, but if you see the upper floors being turned into dust and ejected outside the footprint of the building, should the lower floors not be left standing? Instead the whole building turned to dust?

    • @harrisonsaunders4117
      @harrisonsaunders4117 Год назад

      The building didn’t turn to dust, plenty of steel left after the collapse and the dust was the 4 inch thick concrete that was laid over every floor of the building.

    • @johnepants
      @johnepants Год назад +1

      What mostly fell off to the sides was the exterior columns and walls. They had no lateral support when the interior trusses broke away during the collapse. The pancaking that occurred was each floor falling on top of the other, and as the other reply stated, the dust was from the concrete, drywall, etc. I think the debris pile ended up being 6 stories tall if I could remember

    • @johnepants
      @johnepants Год назад +1

      I should also point out that the structure was built into its own “bathtub”. I think the original WTC had 6 basement levels, so a lot of what collapsed ended up under street level and there was still 6 stories of rubble above it

    3:25 When you realize the “random squids” are likely just concrete floor being pulverized.
    Seriously. Look at the floor of “pulverized concrete”, and you’ll likely see that the “squib”happened on a floor with a partial or full floor collapse.
    The south facade of the north tower has floor failures at lower floors than other sides.
    Not a coincidence since the tower leaned south, and thus lost stability when the columns on the south side failed

    • @Milnoc
      @Milnoc Год назад

      The planes tore through the cores, compromising them. The fire then heated up and weakened the steel. Once the top of the building started to fall, debris tore through every floor below, destabilizing absolutely everything and taking out entire floors one by one.
      In some shots, you can see the outer structural shell buckle outward right at the start. That's the moment the building could no longer support itself and just gave way.

      You can still see bits of the core columns still standing before finally falling. The building appeared to peal down and outward. It wasn't a free fall though. It only looks that way because of the concrete dust cloud. I saw the actual video from the guy on the boat in better detail, and you literally can still hear the building continuing its fall behind the dust cloud. The facade columns were actually the main support of the building. Once that is severed you know what's gonna happen.

Kinda throws a lot of cold water on the “controlled demolition” nonsense. I mean probably the biggest crane wouldn't be able to lift it that's more than an elephant. That's probably the entire reason why they fell and south tower 70-110 floors tilting even more than north tower even with and without the antenna! Jeez.
