I came here to let everyone know that I froze the “eggs” and used the tampax pearl applicator. Get rid of the cotton and bend the slits, pop that little egg in there and insert like you would a tampon. Life changing and this is the best product I’ve ever used for my ph issues. I’ve tried antibiotics, new medicines, probiotics, kombucha and eating yogurt... and it comes back... this was the only product that worked quickly with the best results. It has also saved me money. Kombucha is not cheap and I don’t like yogurt so yea lol
I thought about doing this... thank you! I literally came to RUclips b/c I am struggling actually getting this ish in and I refuse to waste my money 🤣

does it cure it? I’m trying have a baby and it’s dangerous to have bv in early pregnancy. I hate going in all the time but if it cures it then I would absolutely buy this!
@@TheTrebleAngel You really should check with your OBGYN. Give them the ingredients and ask if this would be safe during pregnancy. It works really well but always consult with your own MD if you are unsure.
You have to push the top of the applicator as far down as you can and then pop the egg in it. Once it’s situated it shouldn’t pop out when you go to insert. if you can insert a tampon, then you should have no issue(or pain) inserting the applicator. The teardrop is not “sharp” like most people think so I wonder if some ppl a mental thing? Also, I’ve been using suppositories since 2017 as I’ve had non-stop yeast & BV for the past 4 years. And I mean I have an infection once every 3-5 days…Using a clean finger is the BESt applicator there is as you can really get up there behind your cervix. I don’t know if it’s bc my current infection is so bad but, there’s no “discharge” of the product like the other suppositories I use do. I hope that’s a good thing, that’s it’s actually “eating away” at the yeast lol. I hope it works bc I’m over here dying…
I finally tried this and felt relief after just one suppository ! This works for Yeast and BV. I had no issues or pain or anything after .

I just used this product last night . I don’t get BV but I get yeast infections sometimes. I’ve chosen to only use it 1 time day at bed time instead of twice a day like the box says. I don’t think I need it 2 times in a day .
I haven’t tried the applicator because I find it easy for me to just pop it in with my finger . I went to sleep and woke up and found instant relief!! Omg it feels soothing and gentle. My vagina smells so good and fresh. !! I’m very happy with the results so far !!

Me too and honestly I used it for two days and it was 100% better
I feel like you should continue using it for the full 7 days kinda like you would taking an antibiotic because not finishing the dosage can still leave bad bacteria around lingering.
I refused to pay 20 so i switched the tag for 2.80 cents lol #college life and the applicator is not hard to use , also i used tweezers for the separation of the plastic

I started using these last night and I had the same problem with the applicator, but this morning I laid down and I had no issues at all. I suggest laying down to put it in and it works like a tampon
I did the same thing! It wouldn’t come out of the dang applicator so I laid down and it stayed in perfectly fine
I just had a period last 29 days and it knocked my ph balance wayyyy off so I will be using this starting tonight I hope it helps!!

I “borrowed” it from target. Lol, my first night using it. I never used tampons cause I could never get em in. This big ass horse pill was not any easier lmao. Laid down, like how you do for a Brazilian and used my finger to put it in. Ima keep em for emergency but it is hella uncomfy. Hopefully it makes some type of difference

@@iamanykebrown lmao thanks girl, and you know I did notice a slight difference for sure. The discomfort is what I didn’t particularly like though, because it’s a pretty large pill, and then I probably should lay off the alcohol for a while. I say 8/10 purchase left out two stars cause it’s steep for the price and the size I don’t like. Other than that it’s good to have on hand.

Yess, I just tried this. My first time I thought I was imagining things but the discomfort in vaginal region was gone!!! Glad I went to target and tried because lord knows it’s frustrating.
The applicator suckssss, today is the first day using this product. After the 4th try, I finally decided to use my fingers. I get reoccurring BV, I pray this works!!!

Yes I wash my hands very well and then I insert it laying down with my legs spread lol. The applicator is not it at all and my fingers have been much better lol
I had to come to yt to see how to properly use this cause there’s no in detail instructions like the other pharmacy type products. 😭😭

Sis yes ! I was watching another YT’ers video and she was like she uses one and I was like huh I thought it was for 7 days.
I tried to like this product so bad but the one applicator syringe is not it. This is very unsanitary. We are not suppose to use the same applicator over and over again. On top of that it is very hard to use. Other brands give you 15 applicators for a 7 day use. Please consider adding more.
You suppose to wash the applicator on each use. Also monistat 7 day comes with one applicator as well

I’m not sure if I’m the only person who encountered this but upon trying to use this, I seriously could not-for the life of me-open the suppository balls that the pack comes with. Im not sure if you’re supposed to just rip one ball and leave the fringes of the wrapper on and insert or what it is. No matter how much I try to twist and turn the edges of the wrapper, I just can’t seem to get the suppository ball out unless I physically use scissors to cut it out and place it on the instrument it comes with. Let me know if I’m just getting this all wrong or if im just overlooking it.
The packaging was bad even the applicator was janky but the product was 👌

@@MaylieVang so when you rip one of the pearls off from the other 6 theres a split in the top where the point is where you can separate the 2 films from eachother....sorta like peeling a banana if that makes any sense. Applicator sucks though

Great product! I struggled with BV for 14 years and this finally helped me! The only thing is after two weeks of using it (I did one suppository per day,) I had a pelvic exam the other day and the doctor told me she could see that it was a lot still in me but I thought it was supposed to dissolve completely
After using this it doesn't all dissolve so you want to wash whatever is left over out.

I personally don’t like it .. I’ve been using it for 3 days so I’ve used 6 total . I’ve wore a pad for leaking and nothing seems to be coming out . When I checked it’s just melted inside of me with pieces of the boric acid . It’s a really petroleum like consistency and it’s pissing me off honestly 😩 I’m going to try to douche with water to rinse it all out and try boric acid by PHD Health. I hate the tea tree smell it smells so weird I kind of regret using these😒😒

My dr gave me meds for bv that cost $96 after my insurance is this a sure thing to get rid of bv because I'll pay $17 over $96 any day
most definitely plus it's made with natural ingredients so it won't irritate it will just help cure the problem.

How long did it take for it to melt for you guys ? & when did it feel regular & not like your full of petroleum jelly ? A day or few hours ?

i normally use another brand but i don’t have time to wait for delivery so i decided to try this brand and i was a little scared because the suppository is scented but i decided to try it anyway. going to see what happens

The applicator sucked. I put the pearl on the large side and when I went to put it in, the pearl started to melt and would not transfer into my V no matter how many times I tried. It nearly melted halfway before I said fxxk it and just manually inserted what was left... good product but they definitely didn’t think about the tool construction.
Try freezing them before inserting them.

Did you have abdominal pain after using? I had an intense stomachache for four days after taking boricap . It did work wonders.

I don’t like it. I put it in before bed and it’s a whole 24 hours later. I’m use to using PhD’s boric acid and within a few hours it’s doing the leaking and making me feel fresh and clean. Maybe if I had a yeast infection or BV I could give it a better review. I feel like it would be great to moisturize the dryness. I typically use boric acid when I’m ovulating because I deal with mild dryness during ovulation. I’m going to keep these just in case I may get BV or a yeast infection.
The applicator tube is complete trash and entirely useless. Did not help the suppository stay up there at all.

Why is the applicator so wide, not comfortable
I have bv, i can tell during sexual intercourse it smells fishy… and discharge come out greyish. I been suffering for BV since 21 and im 38 now… i been seeing my obgyn 5-6 times a year becuz these bacterias come and go…

I was scared to use this product because it smelled like marijuana, and I thought I don’t want my vagina smelling like the (like the oww weee, a joint,) lol, but I tried it anyway.
The applicator sucks, so I washed my hands and put it in that way laying down. I never had any odor or actual discharge, but I would see a clump or two when I pee. I had itching, but no burning.
I think my issue is candida so I probably need to do a full body cleanse.
We will see how this works out.

Update: It worked well. The itching stopped. The product worked great. I believe I still have candida, I still see small clumps every now and then, but no yeast like before. I would buy this again.

So after using it the first day , im not sure how i feel, like i feel it made me smell more like a perfume musk scent , is this normal after one use ? Like timeline wise when did you ladies feel it evened out?
This product is great however it leaves a creamy residue and for me it takes a while to come out like two weeks and who wants to have sex and see that and smell the tea tree oil then you gotta explain to your partner what that is ...so I find it great to use a week before my period comes or three days before my period comes because I only used it for three days ...but I rather use the regular boric acid suppository after my period because it doesn’t leave a residue in my vagina that I can’t get out

No only use when you need it clears things up after one to 2 uses from my experience

I honestly only use when I notice a little yeast. it all depends on your body and how you feel down there.

Hi! So I’m new to the boric acid thing, and I just bought the honey pot product. When going online I can’t seem to find useful information about whether or not I can be intimate after using this product or how long I have to wait. If anyone could give advice that would be great!
Most definitely wait until you feel better and things clear up down there before you decide to be intimate
I agree I would wait until things clear up but the instructions say to wait to insert up to 4 hours after being intimate.
I have no issue w the applicator. I am just curious to know is it normal to have mild abdominal pain. I have bv. It’s working good so far but when I wake up I have abdominal pain. I’m just wondering if this product gave me a uti or sum 😕
Honestly I am not sure, I don't think so because all of the ingredients are natural but here's what I think you should do. Go to either the honey pot companies website or for a faster response their Instagram tell them exactly what you told me to see what they say about it. They might have an answer or I would recommend telling your gynecologist they can check you out to see what was the cause. I hope everything goes well first reach out to the company they will respond and who knows maybe they will have an answer.

I inserted these in at night and i wouldn’t leak and would wake up with my underwear dry. Then like within 30 minutes of waking up the pills would melt and i’m so confused. Help?
Are you inserting them far enough inside the vagine? If you lie down flat on your back, pull your knees up and insert it with the applicator it will work better.
maybe because your standing up moving around so its just naturally coming down
It just best to use overnight while sleeping that way it can work it's magic. Once your up moving , walking yes it could start to leak. Best thing to to is shower once you wake up and if you need to apply more do it right before you go to bed again.

Yes most definitely whenever I feel like I am getting yeast down there I will use one and I am good. This stuff works so well it last me months because it will only apply it when I feel I need it and it can kill yeast in like one or 2 days best product ever

For me it takes about and hour to fully dissolve

That's from the product I put it in before going to bed. So I am not moving around too much. But it's normal because you're sitting up when you pee

Nope I use it that way sometimes, It does a great job I use one when I feel like I see a little bit of yeast and I feel a lot better the next day so yes you can use one.

The box says you’re supposed to use it twice a day for seven days so I’m thinking you put one in right when you wake up then after you shower that night put another one in for about a week
Honestly I only use it when I need it , I've never used it for seven days I would only recommend doing that if you have full blown yeast infection or bv, I use it when I notice a little yeast and it clears up in one or 2 days.

No just the egg, I really don't like the applicator it socks so sometimes I insert the egg with my fingers.

Are these like Norforms? I usually will keep suppositories in the fridge so they won't melt. Just placed an order for this
I store them in a drawer it's fine
@@iamanykebrown umm idk. I've been using norforms for years and i always keep them refrigerated
@@bxchicc7799 The instructions for use is to keep them in a cool dry place. When you buy them in store they’re sitting on a shelf next to the sanitary napkins so they will be fine in a drawer and will not melt. They even recommended you dip them in water to make it easier to insert.

I decided to post this here because i haven’t found a whole lot of other discussions about it but after using this for a few months (as needed not the entire few months) I decided although it works well i prefer the pH-D boric acid suppositories. There’s a lot of fragrance in these suppositories and the discharge after is almost like lotion it kinda freaks me out. I’d love to hear if any of y’all had the same experience
i’m using the pH-D currently. How long does it take for a abnormal discharge (yeast) issue, alone?
@@scortez99 mine took like 4 days to a week the first time and now if i ever have a bit of irregular discharge or smell i pop it in right away and it only takes like a day or two! I’ll also do one after every period to make sure it’s all phresh down there

I agree. I’m on day two and due to the consistency and scent of the honey pot ones, I find that I prefer the plain boric-life suppositories.
