Often confused for being part of the Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 2, Dmitri Shostakovich's Waltz No. 2 comes from the Suite for Variety Orchestra (written after 1956). The Waltz 2 in C minor is famous for its melody and soft beauty, which comes to life in this fantastic piano tutorial! Pianists will love playing through this arrangement, which is a full and colourful rendition of Shostakovich's classic.
This piano arrangement of Waltz No. 2 is fantastic to play! You can learn it with our Synthesia piano tutorial, or from our official Sheet Music Boss sheet music at the top of the description!

So... here in my hometown there's an old lady that carries one of those high-bass, luminous speakers with wheels on it (had no idea what they are called). Really high end stuff, and almost every morning she scrolls through midtown to her workplace playing this song (orchestra version) full blast. Even during this weird hard times she manages to break routine and steal a smile from all the people that don't know her and see her for the first time lol. Without a care in the world she just walks around with her huge speaker making hand gestures as if she were conducting the piece. It's the small beauties and odd spectacles that make me love my city.
