@@Its-Me-JD-Xwell to be fair, Mario Kart is designed with a significant luck component to it as well, so it is not purely a skill issue. Both of them aren't the strongest players for sure, but are far from the weakest too. For instance, FWMC are definitely far weaker players than either Bae or Irys, even with their backseat advantage lol
Definitely, but the Twins were not playing to win, they were playing to have fun and have a good time. You could clearly see that.

Well they were no sleep practicing it which I wish they didn't because they sound tense and stressed. Seen it before like when you cram for a test where the exhaustion just makes everything worse. I wished they took at least a nap before preparing for the stream

Fuwamoco was painful to watch but it was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away. The fact that they had fun despite what happened made more entertaining actually.
They were at least with the pack at times. Poor Ao and Kobo were so far back most of the time that they couldn't see anyone for most of the race.

Baelz and IRyS really are meant to be. Both shouting and continuously stating how they hate this game. IRyS took it a bit further and said she hated the world, but I guess she lost 'hope'. x3
Zako cup looking strong this year. Ao kun 4 points, Kobo 5 points, and Kanade 6 points, and both Fuwawa and Mococo getting 9 points.

Ina, Calli, Bijou and Kronii were gaming. Bae and Irys were having meltdowns and the Bau Baus are just happy to involved.

I was watching Bae's pov and her anxiety was her greatest enemy. She started doing well in races 3&4 but she was still panicking love the rat nonetheless.

Yeah, Calli had a whole arc in the hours leading up to the tourney. She has always had issues with Nintendo online, but when she started her stream to practice before the tourney started, she wasn't able to race at all due to disconnects. She ended that stream saying "I'm gonna go figure this out." An hour or so later, she put up a new Stream reservation and said in chat that she went to go buy an OLED Switch so she could connect through Ethernet instead of Wifi. Sasuga, Dad!
I'm feeling like Calli's anxiety was pushed from her mind fully thanks to the tech issues plaguing her so badly, that it reset her mind to be at peak reaper mode for the race.

The contrast between Fuwamoco going crazy and Ina intense focus was throwing me out. I'd laugh every POV switch
The POV between Bae and Fuwamoco was the funniest to me. Bae full on rage followed by the Bau Baus happily giggling is just peak comedy
You forgot to show Calli’s breakdown when she ‘accidentally’ picked Shroom Ridge.
Calli has made the most improvement from last year. From being on the bottom to the middle of the pack to actually placing 2nd/3rd, and almost got 1st if not for that blue shell.
Watching Bae’s pov really hurt. She got extremely unlucky and hearing the defeat in her voice in race 3 was so sad
The Chaos rat has not had the best week (with the delay of the full EN cover she organized + actually injuring herself for gaming too hard + probably upcoming moving to Japan) so the anxiety wasnt the best... she also didnt help herself by how she trained in the end I think
The editing on FWMC saying "Drifting is our Best Skill" and then immediately flailing a drift off road into a wall was hysterical.
Remember Mario kart made Hakoz Baelz the embodiment of chaos go insane and IRyS the embodiment of hope lose hope
Im so happy to see Calli actually give it a try this time and getting results.
Being Fuwamoco with a supportive bystander is such a pluss for entertainment purposes! The focus grabbed everyone else, meanwhile the demon guard dogs got 1st place in having fun twice! xD
Plus the have the zako royalty (Ao-kun for Mococo, Kobo for Fuwawa) to guard them from proper last place xD

Well some people want to be the best, there's nothing wrong with bae taking this races seriously. Especially if she already training so hard before the competition. I respect her with how competitive she was.
There's JP sweaty seriousness and then there's tryhard sweaty from Bae and IRyS. Not the same. The all-JP 1st place winners, practice in Grand Prix paid off. Bae and IRyS time trials, nothing. Plus IRyS researching meta loadouts, looking up advanced techniques, or chasing shortcuts. Oh boy, did that helped. lol
Bae shouldn’t blame the game but herself.

Fuwamoco are the type who have fun no matter what and you are the very supportive person the cheers no matter what happens. But when the miracle happens and they get first, you stand up from where you’re at, cry tears of joy, and cheer louder than no one has ever cheered before.
And I’m okay with that.
FuwaMoco were the true winners out of this
Raden doing great, when you consider that she bought the game while celebrating the new year, and was really drunk. Choco missed her chance to not win the Zako cup. So many former Zako cup members, aside from BGM who entered the group by mistake, managed to enter the mid of the pack.
I had all the EN girls povs up during the race and I have to say overall it was a fun watch. Anyway just shareing my thoughts here about each of the girls.
Individual thoughts:
Bijou- I'm thinking that her being reconized as "the gamer" of Advent made her want to go into focus mode, to make a good impression. Be it for viewers or her sempai's, so I think wanting to impress was her main focus while having fun was second. Still at the end it seems like she had fun and was a good sport.
Bae- I agree with most comments about the race that anxiety got the better of her, sad thing is while practicing the tracks would indeed help. it can only do so much for before the rng items start flying. I'm sure she's aware of that, so her acting crazy and saying she hates the game was probably all in good fun and in the end she can look back at the past races and laugh. (and hopefully not suffer ptsd)
Cali- Cali was definitly fun to watch. All her practice matches with the other EN girls and of course chat made her out to be one of the mid to weaker drivers but during the match her coming out in the top six was definitly surprising/exciting as kinda like the underdog of the races.
I feel like having expereinced the losses in the past practice races she had low expectations, which turned a fun "lets go" moment for everyone.
Ina- Ina felt like she was just there to just exists and have fun lol. She's already one of the top EN racers in my book from watching the practice streams so it felt like she just went in with zerp expectations and was just did her best while racing for fun. Happy to see the both Myth girls did well. As a long term Myth fan I was hoping Ina and Cali would do well and my wish came true.
Kronii- So while she didn't stream, those that watched her practice streams know that she decided to do this to focus more on the race. I feel like this falls under the same thing Bae was feeling with performance anxiety. Regardless of her reasoning I still hope she had fun at least.
Mumei- Have to be honest, I didn't even realize she was in the race as I was mostly listening to the race while playing other games, and only looked over once in awhile to see who won or if a funny comment was made. Knowing Mumei from her streams though she probably fell under the same performance anxiety that both Bae and Kronii felt under and decided to not stream her pov. That being said I know she's still on break so it's hard to say if that's the real reason so will just have to wait and see if she talks about it in another stream.
IRyS- Simlar to Bae I feel like IRyS was much more calmer or at least sounded calmer during the race. It was funny to hear both her and Bae repeat how much they hate the game but in the end I'm sure they both had fun.
FuwaMoco- I'm not a ruffian but have to say I enjoyed their stream the most lol. Regardless of what place they were in they were just a bunch of puppy dogs sticking their heads out the window and the race didn't even matter. From their practice streams to the main race there was no diffrence and found their doggie instincts to go after a rabbit to be quite amusing.
Anyway those are my thoughts. Looking forward to the rest of the races and will continue to support the Myth and EN girls!

I think Irys and Bae needs to take a nap beforehand. They been grinding for almost 24 hours before. If anything their nerves and lack of confidence got the best of them.

Bea and IRyS literally sharing the same braincell throughout this Tournament. I feel though Bea took more emotional damage than anyone else in EN. Rooting for when she goes up against Fuwamocco and IRyS tomorrow. Ina, Kronii, and Calli though did exceptionally well.

Bae got caught up in practicing Time trials because of Irys, kept restarting and playing stages like rainbow-road. Everybody told her it wasn't Mario Kart. Bae needed to play with people but she kept practicing trick shortcuts, it doesn't work if you keep getting hit by items. Both of them got stuck playing in the absence of people that when the tournament started they got obliterated.
