FIFA 19 is a brand new game, and Ultimate is a brand new difficulty. At first I was really struggling, decided to play a few without live commentary to see if it helped allowing me to focus more, and I got a few wins. I am learning techniques to beat Ultimate. But of course, clearly it's not me mastering the difficulty but clearly cheating instead.

I loved it, no easy wins and a real struggle, made it exciting to watch. Now we get the "Offline" games that look decidedly dodgy, which I'm sure will be followed by the usual simming half the season just to keep pace with the leaders. Shame really, I liked how this series started.

You know, apart from a different colour scheme, it’s like I’m watching FIFA 18. The same bullshit defending mechanics still exist where every tackle goes back to them. The opposition score every chance and their keeper is fucking superman. The only different between legendary and ultimate difficulty is your own players are worse. EA haven’t done anything this year and it’s genuinely disappointing.
U guys know that it’s probably the reason he won the post commentary is because he doesn’t have to do live commentary. So he can focus more on the game. Love u MGH, have a good day

I didn't think that you cheated. I just would like for you to stop blaming "us." Blaming the commentary done for the viewers for distracting your focus. The issue was clearly the formation. And I do not understand how you cannot see that. Making the formation more central but still running wide when necessary has dragged defenders more often. The commentary did not stop you pulling off a comfortable draw to a difficult team or an easy win in the europa league at the end of this episode. I am pretty sure the 1 game you had won in a previous episode was also on a different formation. And yet you had changed back to the 4-3-3 one that wasn't working after it.
Stop giving so much hate. Try doing career mode for 10 years and keep it entertaining. He is trying his best to keep it up. Pls can we just respect him for this. If u dont like his style then leave dont send hate. Love ur career modes MGH

Ultimate is piss, easier than legendary last year on 18 for sure. I struggled my first game and have been beating teams 4-0 and 5-0 since then. It's not hard at all.
So many things bothering me with your career mode : 1) the formation you're using, with Ozil playing as forward, it doesn't suit him. You should play a 4-5-1 formation with Ozil as a 10 and Mkhi and Auba as your wide players. 2) the fact that you're playing Guendouzi so much, i'll put Maintland-Niles on top on him any day but Ramsey needs to start. 3) the fact that you're playing on slow settings makes it very boring to watch, not the style Arsenal play 4) Having a defensive minded midfileder is mendatory and Xhaka/Elneny being the only options you have is not good enough. You should sell Xhaka and bring someone like Doucoure or Ndombele 5) players like Nketiah and Nelson should breaktrough if you're not intending to bring players in those positions. Tho i do think Zaha would had been a perfect option to compete with Mkhi for the RW position. So make them play more. 6) The fact that you cannot play properly and comment at the same time, even i can play a "couple of games" and do post-commentary. I mean you're a RUclipsr, that's your job.

I love the series but I can't help but think that the difficulty isn't Ultimate coz you can see how crap the AI defending is. I'm a big FIFA player and it just seems a little suspect and too easy to break down the teams. If that's the case then not much has changed with this game.
Hey matt I just want to say thanks for considering my advice about the formation. Hope this works now and all the best for the future 😊 *Edit :* I know you're having a problem with this formation and that's inevitable because there is no width. However if you buy a natural RCB in the coming transfer window, then you could go with 3-4-1-2. Trust me. This is the best formation in the world. It has better defensive cover, width and 2 strikers. Also remember to manually edit the position of Bellerin and Kolasinac as RWB & LWB, not LM/RM. Trust me.
How does your formation change in the match overlay? If I select anything different to default or current formation using latest updates the formation does not change during the presentiation of the match?
