IMO I'd like to see an F-tiers only tournament. Doesn't really matter the gamemod but it'd be interesting to see what's the "best of the worst" so to speak.

cops vs robbers would be so fitting
I always use the offroader whenever I use a kart in Mariokart Wii!
Because the offroader is a bigger kart, it has a bigger hit box to avoid missing items.
It's heavier, so it's easier to bump other players off, but harder for you to be bumped off!
It has a greater accelerator too!
It's crazy how good people have gotten at 400cc since the very first knockout tournament
Yea it’s definitely something you get better at with practice. I’m currently trying out many different vehicles on all 32 tracks on 400cc to see how I perform with them.
So far I’d definitely say Quacker is the best, followed by a really close toss-up between Mach/Dolphin/Magi/Bullet, then the next-best would be between Flame Runner/Jet Bubble/Dragster
Congrats! 23:10 to 24:00 and 30:30 to 31:30 were the cleanest stretches imo, very nice!

as you mentioned, 400cc spear would be hilarious or like one themed where the aim is where you have to win the tournament playing as many characters on the spear as possible and when you win you add the character to a leaderboard like how youd add karts to the leaderboard in normal tournaments
That’d be a fun idea, a character-based invitational though performance probably wouldn’t really be noticeably affected from one character to another as would be the case with vehicles

Edit: i am questioning this because i feel like 400cc feels like a bit too much in my opinion. Is it because 300cc isnt that much different from 200cc or is it impossible to input a multiplier like that on 150cc or 200cc?

It is a thing. Troy made some videos on it back when it was new and TASes exist of it but I guess it didnt catch on.

I have an idea for a knockout series, but for mario kart 8. So ifs the same concept as the other MKWii knockout series where when they win and get a point with a certain vehicle, but it applies for all vehicle parts, so lets say someone uses biddybuggy azure rollers and cloud glider and gets a point with that combo, they cant use any of those again and have to get another point with a completely different vehicle combo, just a idea that i thought would interesting

I don’t think they are yet, since 400cc is basically a track replacement for the 32 Nintendo tracks (like in the My Stuff folder in CTGP it just replaces the tracks with their respective 400cc counterparts, just like how you’d replace each track with Reverse tracks, for example)
400cc mushroom peaks would almost be not as bad because at least it’d be over quicker 💀💀💀

After seeing how decent I did on the Mushroom Cup with the Sprinter, I decided to go with it again for the Shell cup… but unfortunately got the short end of the stick! Tbh, it wasn’t bad at all. I think if I didn’t get severely Mario Kart’d I had a chance to survive!
Regardless, happy to have represented for all the Sprinter fans! And BRUH classic dragster is OP in 400cc… wish I knew LOL

Yea it’s definitely the best 400cc kart. Idk what the second-best would be. Maybe the Daytripper or Booster Seat? I also wanna say the Cheep Charger but it gets way too much sideways momentum even for an outside drifting vehicle. Currently in the process of trying out each vehicle on all 32 tracks of 400cc and so far unsurprisingly it would appear that inside drift is king lol (though I have yet to try Sneakster to see if it’s better than the Classic Dragster, but I have my doubts considering Classic Dragster is probably about on par with Flame Runner for me)
Anyways, hope to see you and/or Troy host some more 400cc events of your own because I’d love to join 😁

This was one of my first times with this mod, went in without practice and I'm impressed with how I did. Maple Treeway was quite deceiving but regardless I'm still happy with my placement :D GG!
Yea I’d argue Maple Treeway is the most difficult even over Rainbow Road just because of that U-turn (I still can’t figure out how to consistently avoid the boost panels shooting me into the zipper and dooming me to endless respawn before the u-turn, as you’ll see happened to me and was pretty much single-handedly responsible for getting me eliminated in the Blue Falcon KO which will be uploaded soon lol)
And also the fact that I kinda got the hang of Rainbow Road with practice. Kinda 😛
@@markymark443 Yep, the u turn was the reason i fell behind and was lapped but i was knocked out before i could play rainbow road, so i can't say for sure
i do agree though, they are quite rough on anything above 200cc

My favourite thing about troys videos is that he always does well but doesn’t always win. It’s great because there’s so much suspense. Then when he does win it feels so rewarding. With other people that’s not the case. There’s almost no point watching them because you already know they’re going to win
