- PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is an online-only PAC-MAN eating competition! Eat your way through multiple interconnected mazes using Power Pellets and a variety of Power Items to chomp the GHOSTS and opponent PAC-MAN players! Be the last PAC standing at the end of each match in this 64-player Battle Royale to be the Chomp Champ!

Mega Tunnel Battle is infinitely more fun than Pac-Man 99. That format fits better for Tetris anyways 😂
Well there’s F-Zero 99, though. Same garbo happened to Super Mario 99, which that game was ACTUALLY FUN! Wish they hadn’t shut it down. I was pretty good at it, just rally takes a bit more patience than going to back to retro single player.
Mad props for preserving this game to all modern consoles, Bandai Namco!
This is the Stadia game! It's cool to see it return on more platforms. I wouldn't mind giving it a try!

To the people clarifying that this is a Stadia game, they don't know what stadia is so your correction is mute. Also i think this is the reason why Pac-Man 99 was shut down. They knew they were gonna port this Stadia/PC/IOS game to consoles and the switch already had a Pac-Man Battle Royale game on it. So to make sure there's no overlap they're taking out Pac-man 99 so Mega Tunnel Battle can be on the switch.
Tetris 99, Super Mario 99 got shut down when each new 99 game was coming. They likely just can’t handle more than 1 running at the same time. Also, how is everyone pointing out this game from Google Stadia “mute”? By the time I was considering this game and the service in the later years they were already talking about shutting down. I’m fully aware what both were. It basically is the same game with maybe a few touch-ups.

Tetris 99 IS STILL UP AS NINTENDO OWNS THE SUB-LICENSE.
Pac Man 99 is owned by Bandai Namco.
Super Mario 35 was STATED at the beginning that it was only going to last for a year.
Nobody played Pac-Man 99. Even in its last few weeks, you could maybe get 17 other people to play with you at most. It wasn't until the final day it was online that it was possible to get 99 total players in a match again.
They closed it probably because it didn't have enough people playing it to justify keeping it up.

And it's mute because there's tons of people who don't even know what Stadia is. I mean yeah YOU know. But YOU don't represent the 7 billion people on earth.

i think it would have caused a mix up between the battle royale arcade sequel from last year because they both make the chompion pun in the title
Now that the game's getting a wider audience, I hope it doesn't get boring or really buggy quick like last time.

@@OrenjiMura the only Battle royale that I know that isn't a shooter is My Hero Ultra Rumble and I really like that. the only other ones that I know of is fortnite and apex and I hate both of them. other than that I don't know of any other battle royale

Seriously, the last normal pacman game was PMATGA2, and it was decent to say the least.
Then started appearing pacman 256(endless crap), Pacman Championship editions, and pacman battle royale. All with the same gameplay.
Then appeared Pacman World Repac, and I thought "Man, finally Bandai Namco getting to return pacman platformers", and now this?
What in the actual heck happens in the studio right now? Are their creativity was absolutely destroyed since PMATGA2?
Pac Mania was great, Pacman adventures in Time was amazing, making concept of mazes different, what went wrong?

I'm still annoyed that you didn't buy the rights to Ms. Pac-Man and instead let AtGames buy it. All because you had to be cheap and not pay General Computer Corporation the royalties they deserved. If you weren't this way, GCC may have sold to you instead of AtGames and we'd be able to continue getting Ms. Pac-Man in "Museum" releases. You screwed up!

Honestly, Namco perhaps should’ve sued whoever made/hacked/modded to make Ms in the 1st place in court because overall PAC-Man IS their IP.
@@EPS5000yes and he is right, it is basically a reskin. I like Ms. too but in a modern day and age something like this would have be only cool for like a week. It was basically a fangame that Namco thought was interesting to profit off of with them and Midway, you do realize that Namco wasn't supposed to know about Plus, Ms. and Jr. right? How do some actual research before getting picky with me.
Is this a free to play game? Personally I would rather it be. Full priced game with no worries of it being ripped down like pacman 99.

These are my predictions of the game or what i should expect:
This game is going to be released on consoles like the switch.
The game is online and if its gonna release on switch, you might need a subscription.
The game's servers will probabky not be independent and will depend on nintendo servers so youll have to pay to play online.
Even if the game is free, unless you dont have a subscription your unable to play, but thats just my speculation.
This looks alright but a remaster or new Championship edition game would be cool with multiplayer

So I did some research and this game is online only and not that but the game itself cost money so it’s not a free download. Why would you pay money for an ONLINE ONLY game just to have its servers shut down in like six months. It’s stupid and I wouldn’t be surprised if Namco gets caught in the lawsuit because this is just ridiculous.
