I have the most fun playing Kala, so I've got a lot of bias. But if you can communicate with your team she's the best support. Even in Arena mode, if you know how to use the teleporters she provides insane defense and great offense with red mines. I take health regen with her so I can heal quickly to get back in the dome after teleporting out and it helps when the team splits up. Movement speed and Commander aren't bad with her too. The worst thing in her kit is the armor reducer. If you think about it, it's a waste of time unless the monsters health is less than their armor or unless you have a shitty assault. It's better to keep doing damage until late game
I have only ever used health regen once ever and it seemed really lack luster. I'll probably give it a try though. When teammates don't use your teleporter that's when im tilted.
@@Deadly1287 for real. Especially at the relays where I know good spots for them and then the medic just forgets about them and dies anyway. She's not great in public matches

I mean coming from someone who plays against Kala a lot, I personally think she is just awful to fight against. It is such a great strategy to pop your teleporter right outside the dome so if you are about to be downed, go to safety, wait for an opportune moment to come back in, any decent team will keep up with it really well too.
Plus her ability to just take off your shield which is the most important buffer while you whittle through the class abilities is suuuuuper detrimental to anybody especially Wraith, you'll get almost no downs and lose anywhere from 2-4 bars of health in one fight.
Yeah she's definitely unique in terms of character design and gameplay wise.

Yea kala is definitely a toss up. With a communicating team, she can be a nightmare to fight with hunters teleporting out of harms way and juking monsters in chases, making no where safe to run to. But like you showed, if your teammates don’t know about the teleporting, it’s useless. The armor is really good in some cases, but as a monster you can sometimes just ignore it since you still have your armor, so it’s good on low health monsters where their health is imperative to lose. The teleporter can be really good tho sometimes with running from a fight when the monster has just you left, enough to buy some time. I don’t play Kala at all, so my knowledge is just from seeing other kalas, I don’t have the forward thinking for the teleporters lol
Also have you thought about opening a patreon /making an outro for your videos?
I have no idea how to Patreon nor do I know how to make and intro/outro but I will admit I have wanted one just don't know where to look or what I want.
I use filler/class-cooldown/capacity or filler/swap/capacity.
Swap is surprisingly good when you're focused or switching to the armor reducer.
And regen/class cdr works well too.
I find the extra mine useful and the capacity I guess is good too.
Thanks for the tip definitely will try it out though the most frustrating thing is when people don't use your teleporters.
The biggest problem I have with kala is her armor reducer. If the monster loses its full amount of armor, the armor reducer ends up having negative value. instead your dps could have been so much higher with just kala's normal attacks. Then her teles are so unreliable to be S tier. Worst support easy. With a very very small chance to make a single s tier play.
You really only wanna use the reducer outside of the dome, unless the monster is already low on HP.
@@MistarZtv outside of a dome yes but only if the monster is going to get a quick strike and run ut then that's based on ybe monsters play as the monster can just avoid fights to not lose hp from kala. And the end of the game is to late.
Armor good for finishing off the monster with true damage 👌
Can you still drop the dome on the monster and teleport yourself and the rest of your team away from the dome as Kala? If that works as it worked in Legacy, Kala is S tier. Why? Because no one needs to even fight the monster. Make the monster lose by trapping him in the dome for 5 minutes once or twice per round and make him run out of time.
If no one is inside the dome, the dome drops. Also I would consider that more of an exploit rather than an actual game mechanic. Which would explain why it is not a feature in Stage 2.

@@Deadly1287 I find her to be in between S and D as you said she can be very good in different scenarios and bad in others.
Kala was a tournament only support, u really need your teammates to be good in order to be useful
