Hi, you will need to contact the ISP and ask them to turn your GPON router to bridge mode. They will configure it remotely and push the changes to your router. In some cases, even if you make the change locally (configured it in bridge mode) the configuration from the ISP will overwrite the changes. Each of the GPON router has a specific procedure, I can't show you how to do that.
Hi, my provider gives multicast vlan. Vlan ID 149 for internet and 1831 for voip. Can I setup both without setting up bridge mode on ONT. The ONT firmware is outright bad.
From what I know, some ISP already configured their modem/ONT in bridge mode, for example TIME Malaysia. For other provider you will need to check with them and configure the router accordingly. Most likely they will push the configuration to the ONT/modem remotely and set it to bridge mode. If you need to setup PPPoE with VLAN, you can check out the video on the OpenWRT tutorial playlist.
You can edit the etc/config/network file and add the MAC address, for example, config device 'wan' option name 'eth1' option macaddr '60:38:e0:99:11:11'

Most of the ISP have fixed and you can't dial to the PPPoE server with the same account at the same time. If you want ti give a try, set your ONT to bridge mode and configure the LAN port of openwrt as WAN 2 and it should work.
HI, i flashed mine as above, but I'm using 300Mbps package. Speed test can only go up to 90Mbps. is there any setting i missed out? SQM didnt work for me

Is there any error message show on the interface? Before using OpenWRT router, how was your network set up? What kind of protocol it is using (PPPoE/DHCP/ PPPoE with VLAN?)
I don't understand what your mean by "using IPv6". Most of the websites are using IPv6 now, including Google, RUclips, Facebook, etc. With OpenWRT, IPv6 had been automatically configured for the LAN and WAN interfaces and it should work if your ISP supports IPv6.
Hi, it is already in my plan. However, for point to point VPN, the 2 routers should be powerful enough to handle the network packets. I will update once it done.

Hi, what router you are using? If the speed stuck at 90Mbps, check your network cable and try with a good one (at least cat5e or cat6).

Hello, you need to configure VLAN. From what I remember TM uses VLAN 500. You can see the PPPoE VLAN video to configure.
