    Another hits, vegan recipes. Mopu tofu without meat. My family love it. I didn't have Sichuan pepper, so I replace them with Korean chilli flakes, and chilli oil. So good 👍. Perfect meal for us winter food.

    Nice, I was looking for a good vegan version of mapo tofu for already some time. Meanwhile I was experimenting with my own version of it. Will be happy to give this recipe a try. Thank you for posting it here.

    you might find it odd but i made this with choy poh and i think it worked. but then i’ll eat anything with choy poh in it. Thanks for the helpful videos. i like them!

      Oh no worries at all. I used it to create that umami and give the dish another mouthfeel texture. You can skip it. :-)

    why boil the tofu first?

      Its salt water, it helps tofu to firm up (due to osmosis) and also marinate it.
