Biggest Ringing Churchbell on Earth

- The first ringing of the biggest ringing church bell in the world with 25.190 kg or 55534lbs.
This is similar in weight to about five fully grown elephants.
The video shows the first sounds, the bell was able to create at our foundry in Innsbruck.
Later, the bell will hang at a straight yoke and swing with a rising clapper in Romania's new Cathedral of Bucharest.
The biggest bell was cast on the 11th of November 2016. The casting time was only about 9 minutes. The preparation for this masterpiece, however, took almost a full year.
The total weight of all 6 bells dedicated for the new Cathedral in Bucharest is 32.243 Kg or 71083lbs.

Fun fact: this is aucttaly The biggest bell in Romania The bell is now used in the orthodox chatredal "catredala mantuiri neamului" and the images was when The bell was in under construction

Thank you for posting this video, and for correcting me. All these years, I had erroneously thought that, the largest bell was / bells were in the Munster Cathedral in Ulm, Germany. 🤷🏻 M’eh… such is life I guess.

Die einzige schwingende Glocke, die das noch toppen konnte war die Kaiserglocke, die Vorgängerin der Petersglocke im Kölner Dom

Difference Between Flying Clapper And Falling Clapper?
Basically, falling clapper strikes the bell in the opposite side that the bell is being swung if that makes sense, whilst the flying clapper goes with the same direction the bell is swinging. I don't exactly know the scientific terms of it, but this is the best way i know how to explain it lol
