- Here it is guys! Many of you asked me to sing Within Temptation - Memories and i must this is my favourite ballad by them (and TSF is my favourite album also!)

I love your tone and the quest and the curse.... I'm not so big on the emphasis of growling vol is the locals, But your sweet sound made it what it is,vis a vie the instrumentals... They all did a great job too.
MEMORIES.... I discovered this song in late 2010, As I rediscovered or should I say refound within temptation. That was shortly after the discovery of Jackie Evancho on America's got talent and her ability to heal with her tone. When Jackie Evancho's mom was looking to fans for suggestions of songs fitting for a new upcoming album, and, I did have contact channels with her, I suggested certain ballads from within temptation, Because they were not familiar to the USA, but were to the world. It took a bit but I convinced Jackie's mom to consider Memories ... And it did show up on the album. At age 13 she recorded it so perfectly... After a concert I did give Sharon a copy of her cd... She loved it.

In 2014 I witnessed her do the song live as well for a PBS televised concert.. AWAKENING LIVE IN CONCERT from Longwood Gardens.... Is even better than the studio album recording... What a show it was too witness, As I had also witnessed her PBS concert answer filmed the day after she had just turned 11, DREAM WITH ME IN CONCERT, LIVE from the Ringling Museum of Art. MINDBLOWING... Most of this concert is viable also, On RUclips or VEVO.
first song I heard from Within Temptation YEARS ago and has held up as one of my favorite songs EVER from anyone. This cover was absolutely stunning. XOXO

If you like perfect covers of this song, please search RUclips for Jackie Evancho - Memories... you can find the album cut, or you can find a live version from her PBS concert from 2014, which I got to witness live, when she was 14.
She recorded at age 13, and I pushed really hard to have Team Evancho put it on her album, AWAKENING, via her mother.
So live concert one may be better than the album even because she was probably seven months older. I think there are a couple fan cam tour videos, but the sound is not so good .
I wanted to tell you, that this cover is really great and that I felt it. Then I found out, that you're the leadsinger of Delain. hahaha I just knew Delain by name, but for sure I will take some time to listen to your stuff. Thanks! Memories are good Memories

This is my absolute fav WT song even have the chorus lyrics tattooed, so to see you do this cover is just amazing. You nail the performance completely. Sharon's voice on this song was always the best it had been. Your version matches that performance, and potentially surpasses it, simply because your range and intonation is so well done.
