I really like the idea of the coin thing. In my head-cannon I like to think that the Faceless Men have long-since spread the rumour that denying someone with a coin passage brings the assassins to your door. But based on the level of respect shown by the captain, I wonder if the Faceless men themselves use these coins to hitchhike between the continents. A bit like Samara in Mass Effect 2. The justicars (kind of like warrior-monk + samurai in that universe) travel on merchant vessels and their captains welcome their presence. As they greatly deter boarding pirates. I don't know if this beats the Mhysa scene, but it would be a close second. Plus, Mhysa is one of my favorite music scores, so I might be a bit biased.
lexi smith The season one finale with Dany and the Dragons destroys the Mhysa scene. I'm not talking music, I was more moved by Dany coming out of the fire with 3 hatched Dragons over her crowd surfing while being glorified, something the season one and four endings didn't have.
Oh, true, I forgot that was the finale (haven't seen season 1 in a while). Yes, that scene is amazing, I agree. Idk, I just like the Mhysa scene because of the hopefulness that comes out of it. The season started with a bunch of horrific acts (Rob Starks beheaded corpse sewed to his pet's severed head, had Ygritte riddle Jon Snow with arrows, Balon Greyjoy opening a box revealing his son's severed penis, and had Theon begging to die.) and of course, the Red Wedding was this season... idk, to have it end on a positive note (Dany freeing slaves and shit) was really powerful. Just my opinion though, of course. The only season finale that really didn't do it for me was season 2.

She's only a child and there's no longer anything holding her to this part of the world :'( But at the same time, it's also a new beginning. Ahh, such a cool scene and ending to a season.
Man, I still can't believe they just ended the show here. Tyrion having just killed Tywin, Arya setting sail for Essos, and Daenerys ruling in Meereen. A shame that they ended the show here, but I suppose it's better to end on a high note.
@What ? 6x10 was not that great... it looked great and killed 2 of the most hatable villians but other then that... especially since most of season 5 and 6 is kinda bad.
6x10 is definitely the most exciting episode to watch (in my opinion). This is mostly because of all the climatic moments it has and the fact that it took place after what lots of people find to be the best battle in the series. Seasons 3+4 are considered to be the best by most people though, and for good reason. They were adapted from the most well liked book in the series and is the most put together part of the story. The ending of season 4 was wrapped up just so nicely. Season 5 was the first time the show started to get a bit messy.
@What ? sooo the best tv ever has Sansa being raped/abused for no reason, Dorne, the horrible kingslansing plot, arya spending most of her time cleaning... you sure known good tv yeah.
@What ? Sansa's abuse storyline served no purpose. It didn't advance her story or tell us something about her we didn't already know. It was a continuation of what she suffered at the hands of Joffrey. It doesn't tell us anything about Ramsay, and it ruins Littlefinger. At best it tells us something about Theon, but that could have been done with his book plot.
I think we can all agree that Dorne was absolutely butchered and that Game of Thrones is far better than the average TV show. Seasons 5-6 had more inconsistencies than the earlier seasons though. Earlier inconsistencies were usually caused by replacements of characters/sub plots. Lasted inconsistencies were cause by direct decisions (that were clearly not good after a second of thought) and lazy writing, and usually made a bigger impact of the story and enjoyment of the show. The good parts of the earlier seasons even feel better because of the well written build up and the characters dealing with the aftermath in a ways that make sense for them. Season 6 would've been considered the best by everyone if the overall writing was stronger and if Season 5 hadn't dragged out it's plotlines. It was also when plot armour became far more frequent (in a story that's famous for it's absence).
Many people say that the end of season 6 is the best of the whole series, but I think the best ending is season 4 because unlike Daenerys Targaryen who was an adult, had 2 armies, 3 dragons, several counselors and friends, Arya Stark being only a child, saw her father beheaded, her brother Rob stabbed and beheaded, her mother murdered, believed that her brothers Bran and Rickon were burned alive, her sister Sansa living with the murderers of her family, her brother Jon banished from his home and family for being a bastard and despite that she had the courage to get ahead with just a damn coin in his hands and completely alone in a ship full of pirates and rapers. Thanks Ramin for composing the song Children, it was the perfect ending to a season where Arya represented the courage and bravery of a whole world for all of us.
I find Arya and her story such a tragic thing, honestly. Especially in the books, she's lost all sense of innocence, childhood, or really, sanity. All that's left is a muddled identity and the desire to kill those who hurt her. I would say she's a sociopath, but that's obviously not true. She feels, she knows there is something inside her, but for the life of her, she can't take it out. I feel in a way that she's in the same emotional state as Sansa, yet both show it differently. Both went to great lengths to survive in very different ways (because if you think Sansa just waltz through spending years at court, you're mistaken. One misstep, one wrong word, and she's gone. The great thing is how well she can veil her insults in courtesies and confuse people with them.), but either way both are still damaged. Sansa seems to be growing stronger, though she shows it in a more stoic way. Arya, I worry for, because I don't feel like she'll end the series unscathed. I can't imagine her living a normal life in Westeros after what she's been through. Sansa, while her life might not be nightmare-free, I can imagine being at least a bit, if not happy, content.
Kara Barbieri True points on Arya. Though as it is, I feel that even though the way she grew up was fucked up, it was meant to be. I feel as if she's supposed to be this killer, crazy, awesome little girl. She is a tomboy after all, and she has no desire to marry any man or become a princess or queen or anything like that. I mean she'll probably fall in love sooner or later, though she was meant to be this badass killer who worships the God of Death (which as mad and weird as it sounds is fucking cool).
This is where the show ends for me. Tyrion's fallen from his lordly grace and his scheming got him sent of God knows where. Arya's going to meet back up with Jaqen H'ghar. Perfect. I just wish the next four seasons hadn't happened.
:( I was really bummed with Arya's storyline in Braavos. It had the potential to be awesome but I don't know what the writers did. It seemed like they did not know where to go with her character. Towards the end of season 6, she finally goes back to Westeros and gets her revenge. But I think her Braavos storyline was unresolved. And the dorne/sand snakes storyline was an embarrassment and a disgrace. Those 3 actresses could not even deliver. Their acting was bland and wooden. I can no longer take them in the show. Their acting and presence make GoT a B-show. The writers should just kill them off in season 7 ep 1.
Ikr The actors are great , mostly Jaqen but Braavos is so good in the book and Arya is getting brilliant while in the show they turned it into some twisted Arya/Jaqen/Waif triangle. There is no bulling, no abuse in the book. They keep her safe and train her and you can see how good she becomes unlike the show Arya. I still like it when compared to other storylines in the show. Pretty much everything looks bad when compared to the book.
I get goosebumps every time I watch this scene. Everything about it from the music, to to captains reaction, to Arya looking forward, the shot of the ship sailing. Incredible.
I binge watched the first 4 seasons for 4 days back in summer 2014, and for some reeson didn't happen to watch the rest of the show when it was out. So this was literally the end of game of thrones for me.
When I’m on 4th season 5th episode, my brother had already finished watching season 4, and he made me to listen this soundtrack. I got tears when seeing this at that time
Absolutely divine. The Children. Children's Choir. A child going off, but in her heart, knowing she'll come back to avenge her family. First time a choir singing over the epic series signature composition. Everything about this was brilliant.
I have to say that when I was binge watching Game of Thrones, I was kind of getting bogged down and my enthusiasm was waning, but this episode and the great musical ending really woke me up. Really great episode and the music seemed to get better and better.
I hope the Stark children find each other again. They are all alone in their own way, Sansa is trapped with Ramsay, Arya is becoming a killer in Braavos, Bran is north of the wall and Rickon, well god knows where he is. The eldest living Stark, even though he doesn't bear the name, is Jon Snow, and he's really all they have left. When Arya refused to throw away Needle, you could see how much she really missed Jon.
And I guess we have to wait until next season to see what will really happen, seeing as Sansa has 'escaped' Arya is blind (hopefully temporarily) and Jon is dead (I hope to god he comes back somehow) Makes me sad.
the best and worst feeling is going back to see previous season videos and looking at all the excited and hyped comments, eager for what future episodes hold. i wish they got the ending they deserved
I fucking love season 4. The music when tyrion shots his father/aria rides to the boat makes this scene so beautiful and meditative.. If only the show could have stayed that way..
When this episode was released, I was working under some frustrating manager and I was tired to work under him. This ending was so liberating that I watched it number of time and I used to feel amazing every time. Eventually I left the firm and travelled further like Arya 😇
So... when I first saw this scene I was so fucking hyped... she's going to Braavos they said, she'll meet Syrio Forel they said... 2 years later: FUCK, JUST FINISH THIS SHIT BRAAVOS BORING PLOT ALREDY! I HATE THIS CITY!
after season 4 GRR Martin left the show to work on the books. After he left the series took a very different approach to the story and its writing so for me this is where the show ended.

But at the same time, it's also a new beginning.
A giapponè famme du zuppette de miso
Seasons 4 has the best ending. It was simply breath-taking.
The True Ending Of GOT.
Last scene of true Arya.
Not quite.
She's back now, fortunately
A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell, and she's going home.
True Arya hasn’t even begun yet lol. Did you watch the show?
Best ending so far, I never understood why this scene made my cry this way, a masterpiece !
Yeah, I read the books.
Kara Barbieri its like a part of growing up in westeros
Kara Barbieri True points on Arya. Though as it is, I feel that even though the way she grew up was fucked up, it was meant to be. I feel as if she's supposed to be this killer, crazy, awesome little girl. She is a tomboy after all, and she has no desire to marry any man or become a princess or queen or anything like that. I mean she'll probably fall in love sooner or later, though she was meant to be this badass killer who worships the God of Death (which as mad and weird as it sounds is fucking cool).
Kara Barbieri her reaction to Luss Arryn's death sums her up big time
@@thekosmics733 How right you were...
Game of thrones was never the same after this
This is where the show ends for me. Tyrion's fallen from his lordly grace and his scheming got him sent of God knows where. Arya's going to meet back up with Jaqen H'ghar. Perfect.
I just wish the next four seasons hadn't happened.
As stupid as it sounds in George's universe but I believe that Arya is the only character that cannot and won't be killed.
oh great.... way to jinx it ;)
Bran too. I'm calling it now.
Palmela Handerson I can see Bran dying as some sacrifice, possibly as a dragon.
please knock on some wood
wood you clarify you're mind?
Some people just know how to make epic shit which gives goosebumps
Look at this epic ending! She's finally going to Braavos and meeting Jaqen!
Then the Braavos arc turned out to be a poorly handled mess.
If the show got cancelled right here (for whatever reason), it would go down as the best show of all time, without question
an episode ending full of hope with the great music that can remember for life after watching.
This scene has separate fans base
Still gives me a goosebump

that scene is so thrilling
It gives me chills.
This was one of the best scene in whole game of thrones series. I hope when i revisit this video i can see my name at top of the comments section.

Yes
why the hell my eyes are tearing up while watching this !
I get goosebumps every time I watch this scene. Everything about it from the music, to to captains reaction, to Arya looking forward, the shot of the ship sailing. Incredible.
Still the greatest season of Game of Thrones! Just outstanding
"Valar Morghulis"
"Valar Dohaeris"
*Goosebumps*
This is still one of the best musical moments of the entire series. Just perfect.
*This*... how did you...?
*Valar Morghulis!*
Beautiful!
I binge watched the first 4 seasons for 4 days back in summer 2014, and for some reeson didn't happen to watch the rest of the show when it was out. So this was literally the end of game of thrones for me.
Complete it
@@nitinkapoor1369 it gets bad after season 4 is what he meant, Nitin
this is the best finishing in the entire 8 seasons
When I’m on 4th season 5th episode, my brother had already finished watching season 4, and he made me to listen this soundtrack.
I got tears when seeing this at that time
Thank you so much Ramin Djawadi for this incredible musical score.
Absolutely divine. The Children. Children's Choir. A child going off, but in her heart, knowing she'll come back to avenge her family. First time a choir singing over the epic series signature composition. Everything about this was brilliant.
Who is here after Arya sailed to the west ?
The north remembers
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
we remember
Man I can't wait for season 5 to come out. This show is so great there is no way there going to ruin it now that they're out of source material.
lolll
season 5 still had source material to work with. D&D just stopped caring
Season 8
The true ending of Game of Thrones
that’s the scene i will remember the most from the show. So many memories. The music from Ramin is beyond gorgeous
When i saw this ending i was thinking “Fuck this is the best show ever made”, season 8 broke my heart
Best ending ever done in history of tv series
I have to say that when I was binge watching Game of Thrones, I was kind of getting bogged down and my enthusiasm was waning, but this episode and the great musical ending really woke me up. Really great episode and the music seemed to get better and better.
💯
Looooll cmooooon now. Breaking bads ending tops this mate
@@ajaini1709 Yes. But in terms of best season ending game of thrones season 4 takes the cake. It’s so chilling and breathtaking.
@@bookeblade It’s my first time watching game of thrones and I just finished s4 hence why I’m here is it worth carrying on?
It always gets me that arya tried going to the wall to jon before even thinking about braavos
I can watch this a thousand times and goose bumps are all the same.
Just checking... yep, I still cry every damn time.
Sucks how game of thrones was canceled only after 4 seasons, but I guess it probably would’ve gotten bad shortly afterwards
Season finals: Dany and dragons, White Walkers, Dany Mhysa, Arya Bravos, Jon dies, Dany Westeros.
too much of boring dany
+darren pat I wouldn't call her boring, she's probably gonna be queen

by far the best Song and ending with Arya leaving westeros. Epic and probably best turning point of the whole Series my fav
THAT WAS BEST SEASON EVAH
The best ending to one of the greatest TV Shows. Too bad they didn't make more seasons after this.
Game of Thrones is the best show ever created. End of story.
Proud to be a GOT fan... Goosebumps whenever listening to it........Forget about S8 and ending....You miss this Show!!❤️
this music is amazing !
This scene and music gave me chills, for once everything was going so well
why does this make me cry and make me feel like this is the ending
Me too! The shots and music are just breathtaking. It's hopeful and full of triumph yet there's a sad feeling touch to it.

THANK YOU RAMIN ! ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE SOUNDTRACK !

The way that man says valar dohaeris gaves me goosebumps
The writers of GOT after season 4 “were not going north child, we’re going south”.
Best got ending ever, I wouldn't even mind if the show ended here
Well the show ended like this
@@MAAZ_Music yeah, Im really glad
The way the captain say Valar dohairis still gives me chill
Pinnacle of story telling
And they all lived happily every after, no need to watch any more GOT seasons after this
I hope the Stark children find each other again.
And I guess we have to wait until next season to see what will really happen, seeing as Sansa has 'escaped' Arya is blind (hopefully temporarily) and Jon is dead (I hope to god he comes back somehow)
Makes me sad.
+jake challoner Nah, Sansa's dead, too. No way she survived that jump.
Stark's done for.
+FamousTijmen Sansa does survive, theres 10's of meters of snow
+FamousTijmen Season 6 photos are out. She is alive :)
Still brings me to tears to this day. What a way to end a season
THE best finale ever....great tune.
the best and worst feeling is going back to see previous season videos and looking at all the excited and hyped comments, eager for what future episodes hold. i wish they got the ending they deserved
I fucking love season 4. The music when tyrion shots his father/aria rides to the boat makes this scene so beautiful and meditative.. If only the show could have stayed that way..
All time goose bumb scene!!!!
Thats the best soundtrack
When this episode was released, I was working under some frustrating manager and I was tired to work under him. This ending was so liberating that I watched it number of time and I used to feel amazing every time. Eventually I left the firm and travelled further like Arya 😇
this isn't a soundtrack
actually this is a masterpiece
This is the real ending of Game of Thrones
So... when I first saw this scene I was so fucking hyped... she's going to Braavos they said, she'll meet Syrio Forel they said... 2 years later: FUCK, JUST FINISH THIS SHIT BRAAVOS BORING PLOT ALREDY! I HATE THIS CITY!
lol same here
They completely messed up the braavos plot and undermined the history of the faceless men by showing that jaqen allowed arya to leave just like that
braavos boring plot ? are you sure
lol I thought dorne was supposed to be the worst plot
He shouldve said " A girl can never be no one!" instead he said "A girl is finally no one" like WTF how did that make sense?
after season 4 GRR Martin left the show to work on the books. After he left the series took a very different approach to the story and its writing so for me this is where the show ended.
