Could you make the video on how to use the BPD powervalve alignment tool on a 250? Apparently the procedure is a bit different.

The power valve actuator only goes in one way so not sure how you'd mess up the alignment.

It holds the pieces in correct position when tightening the fasteners, plus there are many guys that could destroy an anvil with a fly swatter.

Does it work for the 250'?

      Hello:
Yes it works for the 250 but the procedure is a little different. We have a new video in the queue to explain the 250 procedure. It should be posted in a few weeks.

If the power valve is a little off could it cause excessive smoking and spooge?

      Hello:
The PV would have to be way out of adjustment to cause those issue, and that is unlikely. The issue is the stock mapping is too rich and that reduces performance and fuel mileage. The best fix is the TSP ERM slavensracing.com/shop/ecu-reflash-module-erm-by-two-stroke-performance/

@@slaverace1I also was looking at the product thinking my PV could be off adjustment on my 24 250 tbi. Even with the TSP ERM and TSP high comp head, using the green map with all tables 5% leaner, I have excessive spooge (dripping on my rear brake rotor within a 30 minute ride) and lots of smoke. I have measured my gear oil so I don’t believe it’s a crank seal. I have repacked my silencer twice in 10 hours with no change but for the first few minutes. My TPS is set to 0.40 and I have done the PV and TPS reset with the dongle. 60-1 Motorex 93 octane non ethanol fuel. I am just running out of ideas. 30 hours on the bike, runs great but done it since day 1. The ERM just kept me from fouling plugs every ride

DOES THIS TOOL HOLD THE POWER VALVES IN PLACE SO THERE IS NOT UNDUE PRESSURE ON THE POWER VALVE PARTS WHEN REMOVING & INSTALLING THE 2 ALLEN BOLTS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CYLINDER? I FOUND THESE ALLEN BOLTS HAD STRONG LOCKING COMPOUND ON THEM & SOME HEAT HELPED REMOVE THEM. HAPPY TRAIL DAVID

We wouldn’t suggest breaking the screws loose or torquing them with this plate on. This tool is for alignment when reassembling the PV only.
