Fade really depends on your team, unfortunately. At least in my experiences, low elo players are too afraid of dying and don't capitalize off of her aggressive kit.
initiator role entirely is hard to rank up with in low elo, but it's more specifically fade and breach. if you have zero comms, or as you said teammates afraid of dying, just avoid playing them entirely. hell I even throw my own body when my KD is low, and my duelists are STILL afraid to push in. edit: another thing for breach, in the case that your team does push, they somehow walk into your util.
As someone who's coming back after 2 years bro I was hella surprised by how badly they dug Astra into the ground, she was a menace in Immo-Radiant lobbies 2 years ago.
Clove is a smoker with a self heal and self revive. It's really hard to match a kit like that. I'd go so far as to say that Clove is THE agent that everyone should learn at least a little bit because of how good she is Cypher is a bit tricky. As someone who's been more or less a cypher one trick ever since Valorant first came out I will say that he's still very strong and unmatched in info-gathering but the delay on his wires is something I really don't like. Part of what made Cypher's wires so good was you either had to destroy that as soon as possible to avoid getting wall-banged or you had to be the sacrifice for your team push onto the site he's holding. While I do think that it's something that I and other Cypher mains will just have to get used to it also feels like the wires have lost a little value with the delay which gives the person extra time to get the wire before they get revealed. Breach I feel is a little low given how good his flashes are. With other agents like Yoru, KAY/O and Skye you still you have a split second to look away and dodge the flash where as Breach's flash is almost instant and is way harder to avoid. While I do agree that he is definitely more "set stuff up for later" agent I still feel he can be good for flashes if nothing else

The less team dependant is your agent the better in soloq low ranks, i believe. Any duelist is S tier because of self-sustain and aggressiveness. Among sentinels, sage and deadlock again are good, because they are versatile and don't have to stick to the site like kj/cypher where you sometimes just miss your setup especially on flank watching. Clove and Omen hands down way better than any other controller because they can be both aggressive and lurk. Initiator is only gekko, because he is pretty good at rough pushing through, others like sova/fade/kayo are too intel dependant and it's not that important if your team doesn't communicate
lurking on clove is an interesting take, I think astra and omen are the best controllers in the game period. and deadlock and cypher are probably the best sentis, and as for intiators gekko and sova r on top and duelists is just neon atm.
Putting Breach that low is crazy. People can't dodge his flashes vast majority of times until you hit maybe high Asc. Breach is probably the best agent for climbing even if you don't have that good of an aim. He's super easy to play, every single one of his abilities is really good (especially with the recent overall stun buffs) and he is really effective on both offense and defense. I don't know wtf is happening in imm/radiant lobbies, but in low to mid-high elos, ratty Breaches that run away as soon as they see you and only peek you with flashes and stuns is a nightmare to play against.
Immo1 player here Breach is not self-sufficient enough because it can be difficult to play off your own util (besides the ult) the flash is very easily turnable in 90% of situations It is hard to get value out of teamplay due to the nature of competitive queue (esp low elo, no com etc./ stunning your own teammates) It is difficult to get rid of sentinel util (one of the main things you need from initiator) He's okay but inefficient to rank up - sova is definitely clear (for ranked) breaking trips/ post plant etc. but even then if your below diamond just lock duelist like raze jett or reyna and frag because mechanics over everything in these elo and these agents enable you to frag and open space for your team (raze/ jett esp is scaleable to higher elo) OR Clove she is sleeper pick psuedo duelist/ smoke so you dont have braindead controller
Breach is quite good when you go flank a site by yourself, or when you have good communication and not a brain dead team. If your team is horrible they will run into your flashes and stuns even though you’re flashing and stunning well. I have a friend that plays Breach, and assists me (Cypher) and another friend(Reyna) and he’s really good in assisting Reyna in getting kills.

Fully agree, you can really push the limits of how deep your plays can go with the teleports and especially fakes with the clone and noise you can make. It also somewhat depends on your enemies, the better their gamesense, the higher the chance of you fooling them with the big brain plays since they're more likely to think ahead (or try to) which you'll exploit to surprise them. Imo, this is a perfect example of it, I'm a yoru main and I usually just play unrated, my comp rank is currently gold 1 (played a game yesterday and got a double rankup to g3 but I rarely play it so it doesn't matter) I was in a 1v2 on bind, killed someone near long, put my teleport there, and went through the portal, then faked going to B by shooting a bit and letting my clone walk up into CT under heaven (also delayed it a little bit so if there was a late rotate, the footsteps would be heard as they stop, which could be me shifting etc) I tp back to long but I delay it incase they're close enough to hear me, and planted the bomb. As I was planting, one of the two enemies came up from inside the site and killed me, like despite hearing the portal and shots in the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP, they still decided to sit in the middle of the site, absolutely certain I could come back, and there's no chance they saw my teleport orb and thought they shouldn't break it and made a play off of it since they were far from long and they would've otherwise just camped it. TLDR: the lower the rank, the simpler your plays should be Yoru's big brain plays don't work that well in gold lobbies since gold players wouldn't have the same gamesense level, so a simpler and more straightforward playstyle is better. Immortal though, go as deep as you think your enemies can, don't overcomplicate the plays and don't second guess yourself, if you go three steps ahead; the third step will bring you back to square one and it probably won't work as well as it should've pretty big rant but profit

I see why people trash on chamber a lot but I think he’s really underrated especially with his recent tp buff and headhunter buffs. For example if you just buy 4 headhunter shots and light shields on first round you’ll just dominate everyone

I'm a cypher main in Ascendent I and the nerfs are massive you need to change your whole play style on defence and that made me think he is in A-tier. After the cypher nerfs I started to play Deadlock and she is very good she is at least A-tier.

Sage is my new solo instalock . With regen shield and her instant 50 health , you are running around with 225 hp off the rip . Really keeps me alive and allows me to take on mutiple fights ! .
I would swap Astra and Viper. Viper can't solo smoke anymore, and in comp, nobody else is gonna lock smokes. Astra has good smokes, and can choose 2 spaces to have an advantage taking (Pull+Stun). Taking space is a huge weak point for most controllers. She also has some post plant with pull.
I wish they could decrease or even delete Astra's cooldown to use a star after placing it because that's the main reason she's unplayable atm. If only we could see an Astra meta instead of a Neon one...

As someone who has 415 hours on breach and had only solo qued, it's possible to reach asc 2(cuz that's the farthest iv made it so far), he has the best post plant util besides sova, his ability to clear sites by himself is very effective, he can fake flash super efficiently, he can use his ult to get over sage walls, after shock to cover blinds, and his stun is insanely long, getting good at breach takes time but in my opnion you can easily solo que as him and climb so fast
This video really helps me bcuz i am playing for while and i like playing chamber and reached bronze but its gets hard when teammates aren't doing much. I also felt like i am becoming brain dead player either i am getting 2k 3k or whiffing every single shot. I really want to learn by gamesense and awareness since i learned aim and op with chamber
this new patch makes sage much better choice as you can just buy regen armor and when you get hit it'll essentially heal you 25 (because it absorbs 100% of the damage it acts like just health) and you can heal yourself 50hp thats insane
honestly not bad tier list, as someone who's played a lot of deadlock I can say the B isnt a bad spot, personally she is a imo but b is still a great spot
As a yoru main yoru should be higher, since his flash has a lot of potential. If I can use his clone and flash right, he can be pretty deadly. And his ult can make flanking easier
I used to main skye and climbed from silver to ascendant in 2 acts and after the nerfs I dropped bacck to diamond 2. I'm playing yoru now and back to ascendant 3. Skye is B tier on certain maps but for the most part she is C at best
even tho i dont play kayo, putting him at d is diabolical. if u get technical and actually do some lineups, he can win round. he can make cyphers, kjs and others util completely useless. :)
Put Clove on A teir and omen on S if riot buffs clove's smoke duration then she will be S teir Omen is still very strong because of his smoke duration nd the distance he can smoke from he can play from anywhere and with his tps he gets alot of freedom to punish enemies he can op or hide like a rat with a shotgun inside his smoke moreover his ult is very flexible nd can pressure enemies with no info he should definitely be S
I think it’s ironic you rate harbor above astra, even including pro play when astra, with the 5th star back, is now seeing way more pro play than harbor and doing infinitely better than him. Astra is much much more difficult to use. And relies team help. Specially the fact that you are vulnerable when in astral plane. Harbour is safer for most in ranked.
What makes skye harder than brim or fade? I've mained all 3 at different points. I'm curious tho, since she seems beginner friendly, especially since her bird can't be shot or used to fake flash anymore.
Ain't gonna like like from bronze to gold i always insta lock reyna when i was in plat till asc I've learn to fill and play everyone but sentinels but i end up hard stuck asc for 5 act until recently i insta lock reyna everyround in asc 2 and i win like 14matches and only lose 2 mvping most of my games making the first season i hit immortal

If you can do the job of a dualist and have the gamesense and quickthinking to use yoru's tp and clone effectively, then 100% yes, you'll just find yourself abusing his abilities to counter site holds, flank around the map, rotate super fast and worry less about 3-1-1 setups especially on thrifty rounds, and have the potential of completely big braining everyone with his high skill ceiling by faking tps and using the clone (for example faking rotates, fake tp+fake clone, use ult+clone, use ult to pickup bomb then fake the other site to tp back to original site, sky is the limit) The other agents don't really have potential that goes as deeeep as this, it depends on how far you're willing to take it but honestly you should bottleneck this potential by your enemies' gamesense, overdoing/overcomplicating yoru plays won't work as well as in higher elo.
Actually you forgot to mention in lower rank even in plat when people see deadlock or sage wall they just rotate insted of shooting just for this they are strong.

Cypher trip nerfs are actually substantial. You can shoot his trips without raze or soba util with the new delay. You can still get sprayed but ur not scanned for the short amnt of time which is enough to shoot the trip. I still think he’s very good senti but probably low a or high b now. People won’t be as scared to push a cypher trip because it’s not an instant scan where they just get sprayed

I gotta disagree with the astra take. She is super good. I dont think i’ve ever played a game where astra wasn’t top fragging. Man you can shoot her smokes, in her ult you can’t hear a damn thing on the outside of her dome. I love having one on my team because shes a unicorn but i prefer having her on my team because shes their more self sufficient instead of worrying about them dying quick

I don't get why chamber is always in C tier, after the recent buff to his TP, I think he should be in B tier due to the buffs to his guns as well as the range of the tp

Viper is very good with space with her wall. Especially on maps like Pearl. You can easily rush to plant spike.

As someone who has 415 hours on breach and had only solo qued, it's possible to reach asc 2(cuz that's the farthest iv made it so far), he has the best post plant util besides sova, his ability to clear sites by himself is very effective, he can fake flash super efficiently, he can use his ult to get over sage walls, after shock to cover blinds, and his stun is insanely long, getting good at breach takes time but in my opnion you can easily solo que as him and climb so fast
Cypher is really hard for me to play against. He’s definitely S tier and an agent I hate seeing on the other team.
i think a good change to neon would be making her slide not recharge after kills or only 1 slide at the start of the round

this new patch makes sage much better choice as you can just buy regen armor and when you get hit it'll essentially heal you 25 (because it absorbs 100% of the damage it acts like just health) and you can heal yourself 50hp thats insane

As a yoru main yoru should be higher, since his flash has a lot of potential. If I can use his clone and flash right, he can be pretty deadly. And his ult can make flanking easier

I used to main skye and climbed from silver to ascendant in 2 acts and after the nerfs I dropped bacck to diamond 2. I'm playing yoru now and back to ascendant 3. Skye is B tier on certain maps but for the most part she is C at best

Astra is much much more difficult to use. And relies team help. Specially the fact that you are vulnerable when in astral plane.

Ain't gonna like like from bronze to gold i always insta lock reyna when i was in plat till asc I've learn to fill and play everyone but sentinels but i end up hard stuck asc for 5 act until recently i insta lock reyna everyround in asc 2 and i win like 14matches and only lose 2 mvping most of my games making the first season i hit immortal

If you can do the job of a dualist and have the gamesense and quickthinking to use yoru's tp and clone effectively, then 100% yes, you'll just find yourself abusing his abilities to counter site holds, flank around the map, rotate super fast and worry less about 3-1-1 setups especially on thrifty rounds, and have the potential of completely big braining everyone with his high skill ceiling by faking tps and using the clone (for example faking rotates, fake tp+fake clone, use ult+clone, use ult to pickup bomb then fake the other site to tp back to original site, sky is the limit)
The other agents don't really have potential that goes as deeeep as this, it depends on how far you're willing to take it but honestly you should bottleneck this potential by your enemies' gamesense, overdoing/overcomplicating yoru plays won't work as well as in higher elo.
Play agent that ranks you up and dont fill just to make your teammates happy to just perform worst

Cypher trip nerfs are actually substantial. You can shoot his trips without raze or soba util with the new delay. You can still get sprayed but ur not scanned for the short amnt of time which is enough to shoot the trip. I still think he’s very good senti but probably low a or high b now.
People won’t be as scared to push a cypher trip because it’s not an instant scan where they just get sprayed

I gotta disagree with the astra take. She is super good. I dont think i’ve ever played a game where astra wasn’t top fragging. Man you can shoot her smokes, in her ult you can’t hear a damn thing on the outside of her dome. I love having one on my team because shes a unicorn but i prefer having her on my team because shes their more self sufficient instead of worrying about them dying quick
I just realised if you get reyna flashed you cannot get flashed by anything else. Is this a bug? Can you try it out?

I don't get why chamber is always in C tier, after the recent buff to his TP, I think he should be in B tier due to the buffs to his guns as well as the range of the tp
If you are good enough most players will have great fun skill and needing buffs to guns like Chamber isn’t needed.

Did you forget about the buffs he's received from patch 6.11, 8.03, and his recent buff in patch 9.05 I bet you did, it's no wonder why people don't talk about him anymore
