【Behind the scenes】Flower wrapped piano【Hamanako Flower Expo 2024】

This is a making-of video for the "Hamanako Flower Expo 2024" wrapped piano.
The floral artwork was created by students from the Shizuoka Prefectural Hamamatsu Special School for the Deaf, including preschool, elementary, and middle school students, as well as students from local elementary and middle schools who attend integrated classes with the school for the hearing impaired.
At this school, students become familiar with music from an early age through activities such as rhythmics, seasonal event songs, and hand games, starting from the preschool level. Additionally, students participate in musical instrument performances during music classes.
The piano used in this project is the No. 301 upright piano manufactured around 1954, approximately 70 years ago.
Please take a moment to witness the transformation of this 70-year-old elder piano as it is beautifully wrapped with artwork.
This piano is currently exhibited as a street piano at the "Hamanako Flower Expo 2024".
