It was a sweet car, a poor man's sports car I used to call it. As it had all the trims, tinted windows, courtesy lights at a reasonable cost compared to if you wanted to get something like a TR6. Plus with the wider wheels and spoiler stuck to the road a high speeds, especially round corners.
The Sound System played out in Southend area from late 70s to early 80s. Sound system has gone but the tunes haven't my bredden. As for the Celica bwoy what a car! Stuck to road like glue with the wider wheels 👍🏽

@@jaysaw2321 a guy has already done that, and wrote an article on Southend Sound Systems, as Ital Ranking was one of the first, followed by Higher Tone, my spa's system. We stopped as we lost 2 big boxes, and the preamp broke.
@@jaysaw2321 I'm too old now to do that. My future plans are to do live RUclips feed for an hour. And maybe some pre-taped sessions. Like you said it would be more expensive to try and build it again. However, thanks for the support and enjoy the tunes my breddren
