***** if you are ready to go within (meditate) your "meditation center" is everywhere is my experience... going to a special place can even be a hinder in mastering yourself... i have seen a lot of "followers" around... meditation is an individual path... but if you say "some people"... it may be... :)
+jackp6 that is true , osho was teaching how to search this center inside and it is with you wherever you are. But it is nothing wrong to enjoy beauty outside.. it may reflect inside too..There will be not so many people who can stay in such place, physically limited area, but this is example how people can build such places around the world..beautiful places with spiritual practice.. which are little different from beautiful places for just material enjoyment which exists in the world..but without soul.., only there is little problem.. consciousness of people. Rajneeshpuram was beautiful place, with greatest Master in the world, but destruction came from minds both outside and inside of commune..I wish to this place to live long! (I continue to search my center wherever I am..:)

Thank god, I never bothered belonging to a group, but always knew what smelled fishy in the communes, like with Sheela, which stories I read in the R.Times. I recognized a lot in Osho's words, but didn't always agree. I just loved him... And by the way, did you know that whole HIV/AIDS is a scam...? Don't tell it the Osho "church"... :-) And yeah, Ozen knows enough about the Osho Corporation...
