Is old man and old woman their names.
They never had names in the story. All it says was "old couple", so they just called them "old man" and "old woman".

Though Momotaro may refer to them that way due to not being his actual birth parents, and the fact that they NEVER had names in any of the versions.
In Japanese, he was probably referring to them as Oji-san and Obaa-san, These are respectful words to use towards old men and old women respectively, but they also mean grandfather and grandmother.

bruh this is literally One Piece wano kuni. So peach boy is Momonosuke. The kibi dango are the things that Otama has with her devil fruit that has power to tame animals. The dog represents Dog Dukestorm or Inu Arashi and the rest of the minks. The monkey represents Luffy, Monkey. D Luffy and the straw hats. The pheasant idk maybe because kozuki clan symbol is a bird. They go and raid Onigashima (demon island) to try and defeat kaido who is an oni and uses a club like the demon general!!! 🤯

There's something so odd about just translation the names.... we shouldn't do that, it's Momotaro
It sounds especially weird saying "old man" and "old woman" to who are technically supposed to be your parents, I think the original words is meant to be "JIJI" and "BABA" which would literally mean that but it should be translated to something like "gramps" and "granny" in my opinion

I think The demons resembles the bandits who used to appear at the harvest phase in the village and rob the harvest..and momotaro a samurai....correct me if m wrong I'm not from Japan..
That's one possible version I guess. I actually first remembered it in a history lesson at school. The story was used as Wartime Propaganda during the 1930's-40's. Momotaro and his companions represented Japan and it's people, the Demons of Demon Island represented the USA. XD
