Haters chill! Its a southern Marching band competition. Its about being raunchy, and showy. Who gives an eff about what kind of horn theyre playing.. how theyre playing. Its about the entertainment factor!
@porkboi That explains why they sound that way then. I remember when Goose couldnt even play the horn lol. The man has stepped up his game. Im proud of him!
@realchick88 This is why I love you SCSU folks. No sense what so ever. I never said anything about SCSU. And I dont know a Demarcus. When your off you period and have something to add to the conversation, please comeback and do so.
this was terrible, I play euphonium my self (the engslish type not the oversized american trumpet one) if want to play parts like this then just play trombone or trumpet. The euphonium should have a round and warm sound. I these are euphoniums because I'm watching the video, if was just listening I would swaer it's trombones I hear.
@24eGardian These are Marching Euphoniums, nothing like the larger and more full sounding concert Euphoniums. I play both because here in Texas, If your in the concert band, you're in Marching band as well. I agree that they sound terrible (I hate playing my Marching Euphonium) but they are important towards the american football/marching band culture. Personally, I would rather not play the marching Euphonium at all, and I dislike marching season anyway. It's a waste of time. Why should I march on the field when I can better myself for my own personal achievements. Marching band has given me nothing other than camaraderie and friendship, which I value.
Still here in 2021 🤟🏾🔥🔥🔥

@24eGardian "The oversized american trumpet one" are called marching euphoniums or marching baritones.
Maybe. Maybe not. It does open up the air column in your chest and provide better tone though.
@MrGetLifted1 makes my back shiver everytime

Word Up gave me instant smile.
look at the baby Tubas! There so cute!
+mesirpez so these Eupho are basically replacing the Baritones?
basically the same thing.
in marching band, baritones are used as lead instruments and euphoniums usually have a larger bore and play bass line parts
